Love listening to the falls and breeze through the trees

In the August dry heat the falls are not as heavy as they would normally be but still lovely anyway.

As others have mentioned, during the busy season parking is difficult to find in the lot. Many people parked on the sides of the road. The hike is not too difficult, but the signs do not give you much info. it is mostly uphill, lots...More

We arrived at 7:30 and found plentiful parking. We were in the Eagle Falls lot. We first saw lower falls from Hwy 89 and then hiked upper Eagle Falls first. Next we went down to Vikingsholm and then back up to Lower Eagle Falls. All...More

Took some of the grandkids here for a 10 day mini vacation. Very nice stay, we were all treated well from the first day right thru the last day there. The staff as great, the place was very clean, and quiet, I will be back

Not a difficult hike. Many different places to view the falls. Get there early to get a parking spot.

Add it to the list if you're in the area of Emerald Bay. Not too hard of a hike, but be care not to stray too far off the beaten path especially during winter.

You can see these falls from the road and you can walk down to them from the road. They are nice but not great.

Great hike for a beautiful view! I would rate this as a medium difficulty hike. This may be too much for someone who had knee or hip issues. If you can make it, the view is great, but as always in the summer, this can...More

If possible, continue your hike all the way up to the lake. It is certainly worth the climb with beautiful vistas and photo ops.

Lower Eagle Falls overlooks beautiful Emerald Bay. The views from this vantage point are breathtaking.

I honestly can't answer that. We were taken by a photographer in their vehicle and I honestly was too busy looking at the scenery and sights to actually pay attention to how long it took. I can tell you that trekking to the... More

It's about 30 minutes of walk from parking lot to the beach near the Viking's House. No need to be a hiker. Then you can walk for another 15 minutes and you are by the falls. During the winter watch for icy... More
