TripAdvisor really needs to open a new entry for summer activities at Heavenly. Summer options are SO different than winter. We did the Blue Streak Zipline (the longest one at 3300 feet) and everyone loved it. We had 3 grown ups who were a bit...More

I was a bit surprised and daunted by the price as we were a party of ten but I would recommend this trip, not only for the views, which are magnificent, but also for he beauty all around including snow in July. We couldn't get...More

A bit pricy, but good activities for the family (additional charge for some activities). Get package orientation before buying tickets.

Taking the gondola up the mountain is a great way to see Lake Tahoe and the basin below. The overlook is fantastic and coffee is available. Ride further up to see the cafeteria, restaurant (full bar) and summer/winter activities.

We had great hopes going up to the activities via the gondola..... It was very expensive for the gondola trip - $176 for the 4 of us..! Once up there we felt we need to at least try something, we went for the 4 line...More

I was looking forward to this adventure and was very disappointed. The cost was high at $86 per person for the all inclusive (except zip lines) option. The biggest disappointment was the coaster being closed. There was nothing stated anywhere down below about this ride...More

Expensive but gorgeous experience. Would be nice if there was a discount for 4+ people. Kind of hot and steamy inside gondola but tolerable.

Pricey but worth the visit. Lots of activities to do with the family. Good is highly overpriced though.

I lived in South Lake Tahoe for 7 years. Average temp for August during the day is 75-80. The elevation at the top of the tram may add a wind element but it will still be quite warm. The Tahoe basin elevation is 6000 ft... More

I agree with the other answers - if your doctor says it's ok, it would be fine. A smooth ride and I wouldn't see a problem.
