Overall the museum is ok. In fact it has a lot of potential but it looks abandoned or with a restricted budget. It's ok to visit it but dont expect to see a nice museum.

probably the most interesting feature in the town. Exposition interesting for adults and children. Senior citizens go free (as do children). Includes oceanography and geology and biology.

......unless you're into sea shells and can read Portuguese. We took a taxi from "downtown". The museum is co-located with the museum Antartica and both are free - and, as usual, you get what you pay for. It's hard to say which of the two...More
