About Woolnorth Tours
Tours consists of 3 elements, an up-close visit to the cliff top towers of the Woolnorth Wind Farm, Tasmania's first large scale wind farm and information centre. A visit to the historic Woolnorth property homestead and historic precinct, while driving through the dairy lands of the Van Diemen’s Land Company(VDL Farms). Finally, a visit to the breathtaking Cape Grim where we see the wonderful coastline, breathe the Cleanest Air in the World, and witness all the islands off the NW coast of Tasmania. 193 years of agricultural history and a focus on indigenous culture and connection to PLACE. Learn about modern, large scale farming, get your head blown off in the Roaring 40's, chance an up-close encounter with Tasmania native animals and access coastline that dates back 250,000,000 years. We are the only way to visit Cape Grim, part of privately owned land. Tours depart from 1665 Woolnorth Road, Woolnorth. Morning tea is included. All COVID-19 precautions are in place.
