Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was stranded here because the wave was too high on the day of my visit and the boat was unable to sail to Padar or Komodo island. So we took shelter here. There is literally nothing here other than a small and rather dirty beach with a number of stalls selling coconut and instant noodles. But I was told this is a waiting place for those who'd like to go see bats after sunset.

Pulau Kelor Island definitely disappointed us: the little vegetation that characterized the island was flattened to make way for one of the many local markets, thus compromising the natural landscape. In addition, the island is often crowded with tourists and boats, making it impossible to enjoy the tranquility and beauty you would expect from such a destination. Under the jetty move many small sharks that definitely create an attraction.

Kelor Island in Flores has a quite sloping shoreline with white sand and a towering hill in the middle of the island which is tempting to climb. You can do activities like swimming and snorkeling on the island of Moringa. White sand blends with clear blue water which is bordered by a group of islands opposite, and is lined with bright blue sky.

Kelor island is one of island you must visit if you go to labuan bajo, the island is not to big, and if we climb to the top of the hills on it, the view is amazing, we can take a picture with the sea and the hills behind, but we climb on very difficult road, because there is no stair and fence, with about 50 degree high, its take only 15 minute to climb, but its ok since the view from the top is beautifull

A lovely island with a tranquil little beach, but the view from the top is worth it. It's a short, but steep and somewhat unsteady, climb to the top, but the payoff is very worth it.

Hi travellers,
Hope you are well
Today we visited kelor island with couple guest from Barcelona. We did snorkel there with amazing corals and many kinds of fish. So guys, on this beautiful island you not only enjoy the marine life but also you can feel how the white beach offers you fun here.
This wonderful island just reached half an hour from Labuan Bajo. So if you wanna to spend your holidays in komodo National park please don,t forget to stop here and finally enjoy your time.
Thank you and waiting new notice of you guys.

Short distance from labuan bajo port by boat.
Going uphill was challenging since there’re only dirtpath and it’s quite steep.
Use proper shoes/hiking sandals for safety.

View from the top was stunning!
Worth the effort.

Nice spot to take pictures of the surrounding areas, quite difficult to approach when there some boats already parked, so get ready to get your feet wet ;)

Nice view, we did a short stop here. The hike was very steep and difficult. It's very dangerous too with loose sand and rocks. I hiked half way and came down. Not worth my life - you can slip and spiral down real quick. At the top you will be rewarded with nice view. Just too steep. There are small stalls selling pearls etc. These peals are NOT produced by the people of Flores. These pearls are from China that they purchase wholesale. Make sure you bargain hard.
