Sat down with my sister niece and 95 yr old grandad. Went to the counter to make our purchase. Noticed a biggish lady looking at my grandad and looking at us at the counter. My grandad was eating a very small chicken and chips from red rooster as he is very fussy with his flavours. The lady waited till we made our purchase, then rudely approached us and demanded in front of other customers that he stop eating his food immediately and to leave the building. There was no “I’m so sorry, but unfortunately because we sell chicken and chips here customers are not allowed to bring in outside food”. Or “we don’t usually allow outside food to be consumed here, but because I can see he is really enjoying his lunch, and has already started, well let him finish it just this once, but just so you know for your next visit that you cannot bring in food”. We were shocked at how rudely she spoke to us, and we were baffled, as to why she waited for us to pay for our items first, before asking us to leave. We of course received our refund and was humiliated in front of other customers. I even made sure to purchase his drink from there and not from red rooster. When we were receiving our refund, all the staff were gathered around and watching creating an embarrassing scene. I had to ask why they were all standing around watching instead of working. We were intending to make a large purchase of chocolates on the way out, for part of our Easter shopping. All the staff stood around and watched as we left, like we were trash or criminals. It was a horrifying experience there. Never again. We had to pack up the smallest amount of food and relocate my grandad to another restaurant. To our delight the next restaurant was more than happy to allow a 95 year old fragile man to enjoy a 2 minute feed while we made our purchases from there. They were amazed that whistlers created such a drama.

Decided to try this restaurant as they were having a seniors special day. Great spot for families as there is plenty if space for the kids to to run around. After waiting for forty minutes for our lunch I went back to the service area to ask where our meals were. They could not find our order. A few minutes later the meals came out. The chips were lovely but the fish was cold. Couldn't be bothered to complain again so ate it but didn't stay for coffee and cake as we had planned.

I am a chocolate lover and I was a bit disappointed. There were only 3 samples given and they were when you came in the door. I wanted to try dark chocolate but there were only milk chocolate samples. I bought the dark macadamia bark and the hazlenut bark. I landed up throwing out the dark macadamia. It was bad! I never through out chocolate. The hazelnut bark was better. I found the prices to be a bit high. There is a big selection of chocolates.

Hi karol452 Thank you for your review. We do appreciate your feedback both positive and constructive. We are disappointed to hear that you were not satisfied with our dark chocolate. We do have many customers that love our dark chocolate and purchase it regularly. Just to let you know we don't actually make a dark macadamia bark or hazelnut bark. If you do visit again - we do offer you the ability to taste test the chocolate to see if you like it before purchasing. Please do ask for this next time you are in.

Enjoyed our visit here, had a couple of very tiny samples, then wandered around all the chocolate, a very wide range. Not cheap but yummy . Small cafe out the back with a lovely large outside area, plenty of room for kids to play. Amazing looking cakes.
Had an icecream on the way out.

The prices for chocolate at these sorts of places are allway dearer than the chain chops but you can find a better quality of chocolate here. The range is great and you can get everything in a plain packet or nice packaging for a gift. Located on Great Northern Hwy where Waldecks Garden Center was. The best thing i liked about this place is the cleanliness and the staff handle the food for you. Went to the other place and watch kids grabbing the free samples and when the parents said enough they threw them back for other people to try. Great place to stop and have lunch and then a treat for later.

We stopped here because we wanted the children to have their own moment during our visit of the Swan Valley and we were really disappointed. We tried 3 different hot chocolates and they were all of real poor quality. Also the other chocolate products we bought were not something that you would remember about. I would suggest you to try another one...

Dropped into Whistlers Chocolate Company as part of a tour of the Swan Valley. Great enue and an amazing array of chocloate treats, with several free samples to taste. Unfortunately a large group of freindly bikers arrived just before us and their que for coffee stretched the length of the restaurant. This is a great great place to take families and vsitors to Perth, especially anyone liking chocolate.

There is a restaurant in the chocolate store and they have a nice garden where you can dine outside and let the kids run a bit. I particularly like their chocolate pretzels.

A limited 36sqm, limited chocolate choices. The only positive thing is their choc testing and the staff is very friendly.
Was abit disappointed as we were expecting a tour or more products available. Most of the shelf were empty.

Dear Hui Min S, thank you for your feedback, especially about out friendly staff. We just need to let you know, that it appears, that you have visited our Factory outlet rather than our Showroom in Belmont. The outlet is very small and does not showcase our huge range of chocolates available. When you next visit, please do try and come out to the Swan valley where you can see our amazing Showroom, cafe and gift shop.
