The family-owned wineries of the Swan Valley often include a fascinating history and personal flavour, and Garbin is no exception. Winemaker Peter Garbin (son of founder Duje Garbin), wife Katrina and sons Joel and Adam have a philosophy of hands-on premium winemaking coupled with personal service.

Great service and storytelling about the wine making process. This is a little family owned and operated small vineyard and winery, definitely worth a bit of your time, and you really should take a moment to hear the family tales.

We visited as part of a day's wine tour, this was a different experience from our other stops, and equally informative. The wines were not necessarily to my taste but I was v very pleased to have visited

Katrina and Joel were so welcoming and friendly. The selection of wines is amazing and there is something for everyone. Definitely worth a visit and tasting. Thank you so much for a lovely experience.

Fantastic visit and taken through the wines by Adam Garbin. He knew his stuff and shared it informatively and willingly. The wines were excellent with something to suit all tastes. Worth going out of the way from the normal swan valley trail to visit. Will definitely be back!

Katrina and family were very welcoming and happy to chat despite being in the middle of this years vintage. All wines were tasted and enjoyed. The bubbles were very good and a surprisingly nice Chardonnay was a bit of a surprise for the valley.
Some very good value for the quality here.

Garbin wines is a nice winery just off the beaten track of the Swan Valley on the Toodyay road. We visited it today (7 Jan 2021) and were very pleased with the warm, friendly and informative chat we had with Katrina Garbin. Katrina talked us through the wine tasting, answering all our questions without hesitation and fully. Good wines, reasonably price. We will be going back!

This was another stop on our tasting tour of wineries. Here we were ushered straight into the tasting room where a friendly sommelier gave us an introduction to each of the half dozen wines we sampled before inviting everyone to the bar to sample a generous tasting of each. This led to a great atmosphere in the tasting room.

We visited this family owned winery late afternoon. Adam was friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. The wines were beautiful. It was a great experience and worth visiting.

Wonderful third generation vineyard with a great selection of premium wines and “ports”! Warm and personal experience. Will be back when we visit Australia next time.

I visited Garbin Estate as part of a Swan Valley Tours day tour. It was easily the best winery of the four we visited. They have a wide range of wines and all are excellent. The tasting experience is very personal with family members introducing and describing the wines. Altogether a great experience and absolutely should be a part of your Swan Valley tour.
