The Lost Gypsy Gallery was recommended by a traveller. We travelled from Dunedin to here and the scenery alone was worth going this scenic way. The lost gypsy gallery is worth looking at. Amazing what has been accomplished not to mention the hours that would...More

We were informed about this interesting place but disappointed to find out that the place is closed for winter and will reopen in October. However we did snap some nice photos.

I didn't have time to check out the gallery itself but just popped into the cafe to grab a snack and a coffee. The coffee is excellent and they had some great little snacks perfect for when you're on the road, such as chocolate bars...More

A delightful quirky collection of a man's obsession with wind up technology. Worth the extra monies to see beyond the caravan itself. Really different. Coffee and toilets available

Delighted, intrigued and amused by these brilliant creations and contraptions. Free to view inside the caravan & $5 to explore the sculpture garden, this is a must see if you're going through The Catlins. It's a hands-on exploration - loved the altered piano. Closed on...More
