Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Perhaps if you are visiting the Pomona Distillery, you could make it a full hinterland day and visit the National Park. It's a different environment from the nearby beaches and only some 20 minutes away.Lovely natural habitat and a wonderful 360 view from the beaches through to the hinterland.

Decided to visit this scenic lookout after visiting Cooroy. Definitely worth the side trip and the views are spectacular from the top. Approximately 400 metres from car park up a well maintained walk way.

Tewantin National Park is located 2km west of Tewantin and 10km from Noosa along the Cooroy-Noosa Road, it makes for a very pleasant day out.

Within the park is the standout ancient volcanis plug of Mount Tinbeerwah which stands 265 m above sea level. There are many walking trails within the park; also permitted within the park is rock climbing and abseiling. We saw many secure anchor points for climbing.

From the car park there is a track (500 m return) which leads to a lookout with 360 degree views over the Noosa River system, lakes and surrounding forests. A portion of the track allows for wheelchair access.

I come over to Noosa from the Uk most years and love Walking the National park with my son . I think this year since we arrived I have walked it 8 times and never get board with it. The coast walk is so nice and we have seen Tertals and Dulfins also koala most times.

Lovely easy walk slightly uphill over large rocky areas about 250 meters to the first lookout which is to the east and then another longer walk but only another ten minutes or so to the summit to see the stunning 360 degree views of the Noosa river mouth, The hinterland and mountains. Well with the walk except some signage when you get to the Summit would be great to point out places and landmarks.
There are toilet facilities near the car park. The track is not wheelchair accessible.

There is a wheelchair friendly lookout about half way up Mount Tinbeerwah. Sometimes you'll see rock climbers coming up over the edge. We like to go here during a full moon and watch it rise over the ocean.

Most stunning lookout i visited so far, with its 360° view. I got there by bike and it took me about 1 hour, starting at Noosa Heads. Part of the ride is really steep, might be better to take the car if you have one ;)

Easy drive to Tewantin national park. You actually drive up most of the mount so only an easy walk up to the summit. Great views. Big Bang for your energy buck.

I've hiked a few times in the Tewantin National Park and never leave unsatisfied. There are so many great varieties of plants and trees, stellar vistas, and so many birds to enjoy.

I try to go mid-week to avoid any parking of trail congestion and find it usually near empty then. Its a great place to relax, re-group, and un-wind.

SO enjoy the sunrises over the beaches below from glimpses in the park -- really ideallic.

Most of the park is just bushland with walking and bike trails through natural bush which is OK if you are into walking and biking in the bush. The Mt Timbeerwah Lookout is different again and you do get great views but the park itself is just OK
