We enjoyed the easy hike to Ripley Falls. Comparing the Ripley Falls Trail to the Arethusa Falls Trail, we enjoyed this one more. The trailhead is located on Wiley House Station Road off US 302. It is 13 miles northwest of Bartlett and 7.5 miles south of Omni Mount Washington Resort. The beginning elevation is 1450 feet above sea level,... More

First I must say that the whole Crawford Park is a beautiful area and it is a great drive to really feel like you are in the mountains. The Mt. Willard Trail was great too. It is a moderately difficult trail but, the view at the top is worth the work. We saw many families and dogs on the trail... More

Words cannot express the beauty of this park. If you're lucky enough to be in the valley at the right time of day (just after noon), and you find the right scenic view point, you'll be treated to a spectacular feast for the eyes as the sun highlights the trees, and with darker mountains on either side, each detail of... I drove through the White Mountains last week and I was so impressed by the beauty of this area. It was a slow drive because the highway is only 2 lanes and there were many cars and buses full of "leaf peepers." But I would do it again anytime as the sights are really wonderful. I stopped at The Flume... More

Drove this route which was free in October. The most beautiful drive you could take during the fall season. Get out there and do it.

Reached Willey Pond at the Crawford Notch State Park at the most ideal time. The sun was going down and fading shade can be seen on the mountains. The reflection on water was quite clear. There is a bridge at the Willey Pond on Saco River offering some beautiful scenes all around. The colors were splendid. Pictures attached were taken... More

My wife and I hiked this trail 10/7 which starts behind the Crawford Notch train station off of Rt 302. The hike, I would say, is pretty easy and is a little over 3 miles out and back. The views on the top are incredible. I would suggest going early in the morning because the trail was getting busy by... More

Each of the NH notches has a park, although it's really one large protected area. There are many well marked pullouts for scenic vistas, hiking trails, campling and picnicking.

Stopped by yesterday while passing through. We didn't hike we simply enjoyed the park. The pond is crystal clear - you are surrounded by mountains - it may sound corny but I was overwhelmed with how beautiful this place is. It's almost magical. There are walking paths for those of all abilities around the pond - there are machines that... More

We've stopped for a short hike to Ripley Falls. It's a relatively short hike of less than a mile long, a bit steep in some sections but the falls are beautiful and worth this small effort.
