Mesmerising, breath-taking, amazing, awesome - just some of the words our visitors use when they talk about RSPB Bempton Cliffs. Around a quarter-of-a-million seabirds - including gannets, puffins, kittiwakes and razorbills - flock here in spring and summer to raise their family. Six,safe, cliff top viewpoints give spectacular views of the nesting seabirds and the dramatic coastline. The new Seabird Centre at the heart of the reserve tells the story of the wildlife on the cliffs and why it makes it home here. Three of the viewpoints are fully accessible with a hard surfaced path linking them in a circular route. RSPB Seabird Cruises sail from Bridlington Harbour throughout the season giving visitors an incredible opportunity to see the colony as seabirds swoop and soar all around. In autumn and winter, when mists fall and winds blow, a clifftop walk is a great way to blow away the cobwebs. RSPB Bempton Cliffs - one of the truly unmissable British wildlife spectacles.

Great place to visit particularly to see the seabird colonies close up. Kittiwakes, gannets and fulmers had all started nesting and the arrival of the puffins was expected within days. Guillimots and razorbills were present and a large pod of porpoises were present along the bottom of the cliffs. The visitor centre is well equipped with refreshments and toilet facilities... More

There is a fantastic car park, free from what I could understand, however having entered the Seabird Centre, just to go to the toilets and have a drink we were asked for four pounds. Ok we thought we would support the wildlife. Had to go back to the car for money as we had left it in there by mistake.... More

Visited last week with my husband....excellent place. Very educational. Accessible to disabled people which is a priority for me. Scooter for hire if booked ahead. Toilets very clean! Shop and warm drinks/snacks available. Picnic area. Take binoculars if you can!

Hello - thanks for getting in touch. Great to hear that our efforts to improve accessibility enabled you to enjoy our fabulous nature reserve. And if you ever return and forget your binoculars, you can hire them from the Seabird Centre. We wouldn't want anyone to miss close-up views of the puffins. Hope to see you on the cliff tops... Lovely place to visit. We managed to see all the birds the RSPB had signs about. The Puffins have just started to arrive and the Gannets where building nests and starting courtship rituals. We happily wandered around for a couple of hours then had a a snack in the little cafe. Worth a visit if you have a clear day... More

Great Viewing Facilities on the Cliffs and a great Natural Spectacle. However I am concerned to see that once more the Public footpaths sign has disappeared at the top of Cliff Lane enabling visitors to access the Cliffs & Sea views on the Public Footpath without the need to use the Visitor Centre. The same thing happened in Spring 2015.This... More

We'd like to reassure everyone that the all essential footpath signs are in place. Our Site Manager is personally dealing with this and East Riding Council have now been out on the reserve to check the signage and have found it more than adequate. More
