We only had limited time and it was our first visit to this area. Lots of lovely beaches but we felt this was our favourite - a lovely feel to it, and blessed with natural beauty. Packed a picnic and enjoyed it here.

Stunning family friendly beach. We timed our visit with low tide and walked across the sand spit at the end of the beach. Magnificent scenery on a calm and sunny day. A definite family favourite.

A fabulous little bay a short drive from Shoal Bay in Port Stephens. Beautiful clean water, small surf on the day we were there, easy to park and family friendly. A must if you are in the area.

We parked in the carpark where the surf life saving club is and we walked along the beach towards the Spit. The tide wasn't low so we didn't walk across but we swam in a beautiful spot out there which felt so secluded. The water...More
