Small dilapidated place. The show was quite entertaining, a chance to see a cobras close. But I didn't think the snakes were humanely handled. They were swinged during the show. One cobra was also forced to reveal its fangs so that we can also see the venom.

I have now been to this snake farm twice. I feel the staff are great, they seem knowledgeable and are very interested in sharing their knowledge about snakes and reptiles with you. Now on the other hand although the snake show can be entertaining I can’t help but feel guilty about watching it. Snakes strike at you when they feel threatened so basically they spend the whole time during snake show feeling scared and threatened and striking out. Also, the cages could really use some maintenance. Put in a few logs for the snakes or some greenery of some sort, I can’t say the animals looked abused by any means but the cages could use a makeover for sure.

There is a small "zoo" on the farm. The animals are in terrible state, living in small cages for the rest of their lives. I felt sorry for them. I even saw a dead cobra in a pit (no it wasn't shed skin).
The show is executed routinely and the snakes seem very stressed.

We got very lucky here and drove up right before they were starting a show - so I recommend you check out show times in advance in case you do not get so lucky.. This was amazing — what looks to be a family business and three generations… The way they manage the snakes is so incredible to watch - and the snakes are so beautiful. If you have small children they may get a bit scared.. so be aware of that … I dont want to spoil the surprise but there is one scary part… There are three shows - the oldest gentleman is first - he was the one in Rambo 4 - he is very skilled with two cobra.. The next looks like his son — he interacts with an enormous Cobra. The last is the young boy - who interacts with the jumping snake. Afterward, the young boys takes us on a tour of the snakes and lets us hold one!! And the eldest man invites us to join them for lunch… we decline but I bet it would have been a wonderful experience.

It's true - the dad appeared with Stallone in one of the Rambo movies. Great showmanship and involvement with the audience. They very love the snakes, so there is no mistreatment. It is probably dangerous to kiss a cobra, but they do it every day. The images stick with you for a lifetime, so go watch and enjoy while you are in the kingdom.

We went upon recommended by our driver, saying the farm or the owner has been involved in the filming of Rambo4 and that the farm 'saves' snakes from farmers who find them on their farms.

I used to keep many snakes & we were horribly disappointed.

This is a very small sake farm and the show has started when we arrived. The show consisted of keepers kissing cobras or holding the snake by the tail & tossing them towards the audience making them dodge or scream. The keepers also let some non-venomous snake slither near the audience before pulling them back by the tail and flinging them around.
We hated that they had to leverage on audience's fear to make the show any bit exciting.

They also milked the cobra & offered the venom to the audience, claiming that it will enlarge the mens' privates. I pray nobody who accepts has mouth or stomach ulcers to allow the venom into the bloodstream.

Not only did I feel sorry for the snakes, I feel sorrier for the keepers who have to do this for a living.

The mangrove snake was severely dehydrated, probably dying soon and many snakes aren't shedding well. The enclosures are horrible. We were so disturbed we left without completing the farm walk-through.

The farm saving snakes? Bulls**t.
Cobras for show, cheap non-venomous ones probably end up as food for the King cobras. The remaining display-worthy put into miserable enclosures under the blazing sun.

Go if you have no knowledge of snakes or you will be disgusted like we are.

A watersnake held in a dry cage, king cobras without theeth to use them for their "exiting" shows. Just horrible and sad that money counts more then the morality. Left me very sad and just can advice everybody not to go there!!!

This is an AWFUL place. The snakes are kept in minuscule, battered old cages with small bowls of stagnant water to drink and nothing to explore or make their environment interesting. There was a peacock slumped on the floor of its cage, minus its crown and tail feathers. I thought it was dead at first. AVOID

My boyfriend and I visited this farm yesterday as he is a HUGE snake fan and was so excited when we found this place advertised at our hotel. We were utterly disgusted and heartbroken as we walked through the farm and found snakes with mites all over them, bloody cuts on their skin, alligators in disgusting and minimal water, a monkey all alone in the back in a small and dark cage, birds that could barely fly in the tiny cages, snakes with no water or room to move around. Just about the saddest thing we had ever seen. Completely irresponsible care taking and management.

This is all before we saw the AWFUL show. The snakes were being thrown, hit and put into tiny boxes once their part was over. They had an Reticulated python in the show of which then pulled out of a brown sack that had been sitting there all day. They threw it in and out if the bag and then tied it up tight inside at the end.

I am no snake fanatic like my boyfriend but I was devastated and heartbroken for all the snakes and animals at the farm. Please please please DO NOT SUPPORT THIS TERRIBLE BUSINESS.
