gorgeous vistas, spacious, modern patios all summits for drinks, sun-bathing and lunch. A most pleasant family-friendly spot with enough height and challenge for all levels. Great for couples and small groups too. Neither over-crowded nor commercial. A real hidden gem for those seeking a relaxing retreat rather than a noisy tourist trap.

Bosco Gurin is a small ski station, but it has its grace. Good place to go if you don't want queues and a lot of people. Just a few people skiing and having fun. An Oasis in Ticino.

Being the adrenalin junkie I am I spotted this on the Swiss Tourist website and obviously, from this link the local website (http://www.bosco-gurin.ch/de/tempo-libero-sport-s/monster-roller). Something called the Monster Roller seemed the perfect solution for ma and two UK visitors to the Ticino area of Switzerland. So even though it entailed a two hour car drive, we wanted some. When we got... More

we live close to this small ski resort. 1 hour drive from locarno. it is not very big, but there is fun for everyone. the crew of burton had a blast there with their snowboards in 2010. it is mostly frequented by locals, has a very friendly atmosfere. good snow, and lots of sun. summertime is also good for walking....
