Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were delighted to be allowed to hold a Mass in this gorgeous Benedictine women's monastery as a group of pilgrims visiting the Holy Land. We had made plans with another community that fell through, but the sisters were quite accommodating and we were (and are) deeply grateful to them. The sanctuary is filled with prayer and devotion and is truly worth a trip to see.

My wife and I frequently visit the monastery. We are Jewish. Does it sound surprising that we, and many other Jews, Muslims, and Christians visit a monastery? Well the answer is simple. Twice a year during the Jewish holidays of Passover and Succoth there is a very popular music festival at the monastery.

There is a charge for attending the music festival. Also for an additional fee you can attend a concert.

This Succoth we again went there and had a great afternoon listening to the music and visiting the grounds. The monastery is located on the summit of a hill with a great view of Jerusalem. It is worth visiting the monastery just for this view.

The monastery is also interesting to visit but it is worth visiting the grounds just to see the unobstructed view from these heights.

The architecture of this "Christian" monastery was awesome and I should make a special mention of the light-and-sound show here that I witnessed in the evening.

We try to come at least once a year during the Sukkoth holiday for the music concerts in the church. This year they had the young opera singers who sang Irish so now such as Danny Boy, Purcell, the Beatles and much more. It was a lovely concert but quite difficult to sit on those hard wooden seats. Try to remember to bring cushions next year
