So beautiful.

This is such a beautiful beach and always seems to have something going on. Take a picnic and spend the day. There's some stunning rocks to climb and beautiful photos to take !!!

One of the most lovely beaches to walk with the most gorgeous views of the Mount and little islands. Tons of activity and so close to many wonderful cafes, restaurants, hotels and apartment buildings! A wonderful place to hang out or cool off after walking the track around the mount or climbing the summit.

Lovely beach, great views and plenty of nearby restaurants! Be sure to arrive early as you may struggle with parking.

Without doubt one of the loveliest beaches ever had the pleasure to visit. It has such a vibrant feel, lots of family activities, dog friendly and such an expanse of beach gives you a real sense of a wonderful community.

We visited Mount Maunganui twice in the same trip. 1st time it was really wet weather but still enjoyed the walking shops and restaurants. 2nd time the sun was shining and we enjoyed all of the above all over again.

After 38 years since last visiting what a difference the whole area was, gone are the Bach's and hello millionaires row! Such a massive beach, well attended by life guards on buggy's and a great place for the surfer. We just lazed in the sun dreaming of owning one of the apartments or condos on the front shore....We can all... More

We enjoy our whole day here at mt maunganui stolling the beach taking coffee and food at the many cafes on the waterfront . Warm sunny day and as it was the weekend lots of happy families enjoying the beach, swimming, surfing and just relaxing .I would certainly recommend to friends again and I will return .

This beach is absolutely glorious and oh so clean. I never tired of walking miles along it's white sand, ankle deep in surf, collecting exotic shells when I saw them. During the week I was often the only person on the beach other than people in the far distance - hard to believe but true. See photos.
