What an amazing experience, a few tips from our experience, only take a small water bottle with you, security take your own water bottles off you for pick up after the event so take a shop bought small plastic bottle. Parking is a real challenge, we booked a transfer locally which I can thoroughly recommend, we were dropped off at the top of the town so just the final walk, maybe 800m - 1km down hill walk on a hard road surface, and the driver parked at the drop off point and was waiting for us after the concert. As previous years reviews commented the concert started 50mins late and finished close to 12.30am. There is a fair amount of queuing inside if you want to buy food or merchandise so get there early or pick your times during the concert.

Simply spectacular- this was a treat for the senses in the heart of Tuscany
The Andrea Bocelli concert at the teatro was a magnificent experience in a stunning location. The venue is breathtaking, there is a stillness even as crowds gather, really a sense of silence. We did read everything we could before our trip and our experience was excellent. There are free shuttle buses from designated parking (a great surprise) which was well run and efficient. There is a fair walk to the teatro, with some climbing, but with such a remote setting this is part of the journey. Returning was slow and queues moved slowly, again something to expect in a setting such as this with thousands moving at the same time. The teams across the entire operation were really friendly and helpful, the toilets well maintained and managed throughout the evening. Queues at the bar were slow but the staff were fabulous and these bars were well operated. Arriving early and asking for details at the box office in La Strenza is truly worthwhile! The show was incredible, an incredible production in a magical place, wish we could have done all three concerts! Hghly recommend it!

    Andrea Bocelli 30th anniversary concert
We came here for the Andrea Bocelli 30th concert which was incredible. Beautiful countryside setting which is hilly so come prepared with sensible footwear, after all the event is in a field. I would also say that some people with mobility problems struggled with the walk back to the car park after the event so do bear that in mind before you book. It took 30 mins to walk from the car park to the theatre however with 12,000 people leaving at the same time it was much longer after the event and there are some things the organisers could do to improve that so I’ve scored this review 4/5. We were based in Florence, we left there at 5pm and returned to our hotel at 3am so it’s was long day/night but it was worth it as the show was so amazing!

A Most memorable visit to the Teatro Del Silenzio to see Andrea Bocelli July 2024
Amazing Amazing Amazing truly Amazing. We attended the concert on the 17th July 2024 and what a tickbox experience. Aside from the most incredible surprise guests Andrea Bocelli reduced us to tears. The setting is in rolling Tuscan hills and the most amazing stage setup. We cannot recommend enough. Some practical tips. We had found an Air B&B around 8 minutes away from the parking (luck), expect to pay inflated prices if you want to stay close . Having said that it was very comfortable with a bakers and a bar for morning pastries and a coffee very close. A very friendly Policemen gave us advice on where to park (What3Words film.signifying.prefixes) for a charge of E5 per car we parked, were given a 2 litre plastic bottle of water, which you are allowed to take in and bus transport to and from the entrance to the venue. They will even stop in the town if your early enough to visit a restaurant. Be aware this small town is overwhelmed with people so go early. There is a bit of a walk ( wear comfortable shoes we saw some in high heels) to the seating which is uphill on the way back, its perfectly manageable although we saw a few elderly people struggle a little. Timings, the concert was due to start at 8.30 we arrived at the venue just after 6 as we were in free seating. Stick to the right hand side as you face the stage to get the shade first. We parked at 4.30 and stopped in the town for a quick bite, only starters as we could see it was taking a long time to serve. After 6.45 seating was becoming scattered and by 7.30 people were taking single seats. There is food and drinks in the venue but the queues were over 30 mins unless you went during the performance. Toilets impressive for a venue in that position and size. Getting out was easy, a brisk walk back and then down to the buses. We saw at least 10 bus's on a revolving trip so we didn't wait long. We saw lots of metal water bottles and cans which were left by the entrance as they are not allowed in I would imagine glass is not allowed either. All in all we felt it was very well organised.

    Wonderful Concert, Fantastic Experience
We attended the Andrea Bocelli concert at Teatro Del Silenzio, and it was a spectacular experience. The atmosphere was amazing, with wonderful songs and a stunning performance by Aida Garifullina and other artists. The sound system, video projection, lighting, and overall production were truly top-notch. The venue itself is beautiful. However, getting there and finding parking was a bit challenging, and leaving the parking area was difficult due to the large number of cars and the dust. Despite these minor issues, it was definitely worth it!

Stunning setting for a concert of a lifetime!
Visited Teatro del Silenzio for Bocelli’s 30th Anniversary performance and it was the concert of a lifetime. The venue is stunning and the concert was incredibly well organized. Lajatico is a beautiful small town that prepared well for the annual influx of visitors.

A must see… Teatro de Silenzio
We experienced the magic of Teatro del Silenzio, a combination of pop and classical music by the legendary Andrea Bocelli in the heart of his hometown, La Jatico. Surrounded by a sea of golden hay in the serene Tuscan countryside, where every note resonates with pure passion and talent. We based ourselves at the town of Volterra, perched atop a majestic mountain, it offered awe-inspiring views of the lush Tuscan landscape. We wandered through its ancient streets filled with vibrant shops, charming restaurants, and lively plazas where the melodies of street musicians serenaded our senses. For a stay that blends historic charm with modern luxury, the Volterra Inn provided us with elegant accommodations. To cool off, a short drive to Cecina lead us to sun-kissed beaches, eclectic shops, and many dining spots. We highly recommend you don’t miss the unforgettable spectacle of Andrea Bocelli in La Jatico – it's a one-of-a-kind experience that will leave you spellbound. 5 out of 5

3 of us paid over $300 per ticket to see his concert in Taormina plus flights and hotel. At the onset the announcer requests people not video. Flashes were going off like crazy and a woman behind us had the audacity to turn on a bright LCD light to film him disturbing all of us around her while her husband barked at us to shut up and mind our own business. Meanwhile none of the ushers did nothing. We contacted his website to explain and request a portion of our money - twice. No response. Don't waste your time or money.

I bought 2 executive concert tickets for my husband's 50th birthday and we travelled from Scotland to Lajatico, excited about the event. The concert was cancelled due to weather - and I understand that these things happen. However I have been trying to get a refund for the €900 I spent on the tickets from Viva ticket and also from the Andrea Bocelli contact form on his website. 7 months after the event and I am still waiting! Do not buy tickets unless you are prepared to lose the money if the concert is cancelled. The service levels from viva ticket are appalling and I have had no luck via the AB website. Very disappointed. We saw Andrea in Berlin for my husband's 40th and now this experience has marred that event too.

Booked package (hotel+tickets+transfer) last year for Teatro del Silenzo concert through one of the operators ,concert was ''postponed'' due to covid to a specific date this year (no refunds it's simply 'postponed' and tickets allegedly valid)
Have been trying to find out what is happening as a)there are travel restrictions from UK meaning no travel insurance possible and quarantine in Italy (even if travel possible concert is on day 2 of 5 day package so would be in quarantine and couldn't attend ) b) social distancing in venue - event is sold out so many of tickets would be invalid.
Operator has had it confirmed last week that concert is going ahead and asked for urgent details of those who cannot attend due to travel restrictions and hoped to respond within a few days with solutions for those unable to travel.
Operator is still waiting for an answer from Boccelli organisation , concert is 4 weeks away and was fully paid 18 months ago. Hotel will not be used , nor transfers or tickets .Package cost over 3000 euros.
When are we to be told how to obtain a refund or what solution is being proposed ? It's already been held over from last year and was imposed upon us .
About time the Boccelli organisation stepped up and took responsibility !

My brother bought 6 tickets for your 2020 concert in Lajatico for my 60th Birthday. We were so excited but then Covid hit. The concert was postponed until this summer and there was hope and excitement again but due to restrictions we are still unable to attend as we live in the U.K. Along with the disappointment of not being able to go to the concert we will also loose all the money spent on the tickets - we are not even being offered any alternative venues. We don’t want a refund we just want to be able to go to a concert. PLEASE CAN YOU HELP?
Yours hopefully. Shirley Parker

Took my wife on this most romantic trip and it was absolutely incredible. If you are a fan of This modern day giant I highly recommend this trip. Andrea gave a performance of a life time. When he and Mateo performed together it was very hard to hold back the tears.

The show itself is good, Bocelli tried to elevate himself as a tenor, the singers who support him are very good, the place is suggestive. However, the approach towards the public is very lacking as they don't deserve even a word of welcome in Italian but most people don't seem to care. There is no common thread, nor a presentation of the pieces and what is more serious there is no presentation of the singers whether they are guests or permanent presences in the show. That you have to buy the book to find out who is performing is inconceivable given the price of the tickets. Is it possible that the so-called Italian excellence and its artistic directors are lost in these miseries?
It's useless to show up on horseback after the show to arouse a bit of emotion and try to affirm the character when the performance was lacking in generosity and not very authentic.

we are trying to get our monies back, 500 Euros from Vivatickets, City Sound & Events,
Andre Bocelli. NO ONE wants to take responsibilty and then they say there was a deadline for the refund, but no one can find that.
how dare you Andre to keep all our monies.
how many thousands of Euros are you using that don't belong to you!

We attended Andrea Bocelli's concert together. It was magical. A very special and beautiful experience.

Because of all the reviews about chaos, we were already in the parking lot around 6 am. Happy with this choice because everything went very smoothly. Parking 2 Lupo on the meadows was great! Costs are €5 per car, but it is very dusty and bumpy. We were near the front and there was no line at the entrance to the concert.
Tips for this location
- the concert took place on the planned date (weather was good)
- Wear good shoes (no heels), it is a meadow and quite a climb up
- you can bring your own food and drinks. There are 4 bars where it can be quite busy at times. Have cold drinks and some sandwiches here as well
- We had seats in D9, but to enjoy the view even better we sat in the unnumbered grandstand, in our opinion a VIP seat with a beautiful view of the hills, magical because of the concert
- so the concert always starts a little later, I have also read before and this is also the case with us. They start at about 9 o'clock. There is a 20-minute break. Just like concerts in the Netherlands, it is always useful to get something to drink or go to the toilet just before the break to avoid the crowds.
- bring a sweater or jacket, it's cooling down quite a bit and the concert lasts until midnight.
- Bocelli always starts with "a little more opera" for us the most beautiful and recognizable songs came at the end of the concert
- we stood at the exit at these last numbers and left before the biggest crowds, so we were quickly out of the parking lot.
- we flew to Pisa and also had a hotel there! You can reach Lajatico in an hour by car.
- on the day of the concert we visited some villages in the area! Lira has a castle and we also visited Cascina Therme. Nice stops. Near Lajatico, we stopped at a winery for a tasting, which is definitely recommended.
What a wonderful memory! If you are considering attending the concert, definitely do so!
