The step to the toilet... ooch..needs better sign, less aesthetic but less customer bloodshed. Food delish, really. One very sad waiting staff but the others were lovely.

We went back to the Packet after the new landlord moved in and love the new feel to the pub. The mood was relaxed, welcoming and the food was superb, good value. We have been back several times and will keep coming.

Recently changed hands and what a disaster. NO BEER!!! only lager. The welcome was indifferent -staff more interested in talking between themselves. The new decor is very drab and the distressed wall they have added means that you can't get the atttention of the staff without...More

This was a dismal experience. The distressed factory style interior, featuring second hand crematorium? chairs was further complemented by a few dying flowers in their stagnant water. The service was brusque and devoid of a smile. The welcome was non existent , we got the...More

Upon travelling back to the Polurrian Bay hotel, we stopped here for a bite to eat and drinks. The interior is lovely and the outdoor seating is superb - lovely sun trap in the evening. They have cloudy apple cider on tap! The cheesy skin-on...More
