Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A nice, non-busy beach that appears to not be takne advantage of by the locals. Parking is available, free and shaded in parts. Highly recommend a stop, and then visit FinFresh over the road for some truly delightful fish and chips. We had a great time as a small young family

Fits in well with the rest of Scarborough and helps retain the Family Orientated atmosphere that exists all over this beautiful Peninsula... families do not have to spend a lot of money to have a lovely day out on the edge of Moreton Bay.

The council have now added a jumping pillow to the northern end of this park. The local kids are amazing as they all sort themselves out and let the littlies have their turn. The fenced playpark is exceptional with lots of different equipment, sand and beautiful climbing trees at one end. Add sun and water and you ahve the perfect day by the beach for the whole family. Plenty of BBQ's, cafes, excellent coffee options and free parking.

We need few places with imported names but more places with names in local language. Rename it in local language. They also got rid of centuries old trees here as they tried to make this smelly beach look like a European one.

Good seafood, clean and pleasant. Interesting to see how the names had been given to the area. Morgan’s seafood is great.

This is a nice place by the water. It is pleasant view but could do with more trees that provide shade.

The easy parking and wheelchair access was wonderful,a big beautiful tree, every branch lit up ,paved the way to Scarborough beach and the magical Gollum tree, hard to find at first, and I would recommend taking a torch but the whole trip was ful of little surprises

Visitors are often amazed at the beauty of this place featuring a curving sandy beach lined with magnificent Norfolk pine trees. A safe swimming beach with no currents, better at high tide but still accessible at low tide. At low tide, the character of the beach radically changes with the beach framed by emerging reefs; a fascinating world for children to explore as long as they are aware of the potential dangers of the blue ring octopus.

The park is very well equipped for families with young children with a safe, fenced off entertainment area including free barbecues. Shade is provided by several grand, sprawling, Cotton trees. Plenty of space for families to enjoy the park. Limited shade in the open area. A half basket ball court for those who choose some exercise. A good array of restaurants/coffee shops and a general store just over the road.

Wonderful to have a local beach to take our dog to socialise and swim. The beach area is big enough that it is never crowded.

Scarborough Beach Park offers fantastic facilities for families. With a recent upgrade to the walkways so people are not walking on top of each other, a jumping pillow for the young, BBQ,s everywhere and covered tables to keep the sun off when dining. A great park for kids with the usual swings, climbing trees and many other attractions to keep them busy.
