As other reviewers have mentioned, the museum is a hidden gem. You have to make an effort to get to and find the museum (unless you stay at Julsys B & B (which you should), which is only a block away). You should make the...More

Very worthwhile visit to a house which shows how it developed over thousands of years, with a knowledgeable guide in John Vella. Also full of exhibits from many eras. Certainly worth more than one visit and needs to be more widely advertised.

Owner gives amazing insight into the items, rooms and background. So much history in one multi-layered house! Questions graciously answered and put in context. Two whole hours flew by.

I've visited this museum many times and whenever we have visitors we always recommend this museum. It is located in a beautiful historic town and is full of treasures. The building alone is full of history and John (the curator) is exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly.
