It sure look like hundreds of nuns walking along the coast. You can watch them all day long. Beautiful place to visit.

Nice place with lots of penguins, rare birds and dassies. Not much of a crowd when we went in June, which made it really pleasant.

Manageable but send them in batches to view the Penguins. Maybe 20 are a time to get the maximum viewing pleasure.

Hermanus' shore front is great anytime during the year with little shops, walkways along the cliffs. The whales are just an additional extra in season. The penguin colony is vibrant all year round and a definite worthwhile... More
