We found this waterfall by asking at the Lagoonarium, which road to turn on. We were told to turn right after the hospital. We were on Scooters, rented across from the ferry terminal. The road was very rough and lots of pot holes. We finally...More

A short hike through a beautiful wooded area, across two small streams. Enough water to swim a little. AND blue eyed eels!

This is a quick hike that is not strenuous at all. I went into the short hike thinking it would be just another waterfall. It is much taller than i was expecting and I had the place to myself. It's worth the short hike. I...More

Great hike for active adults or families with young adults. Can be a tad challenging. Recommend mosquito repellent, towels (in case you want to swim), decent shoes for hiking (no flip flops).

Not too hard to find if you read other reviews. Basically when you get to the final fork in the unsealed road park (there are only really a couple of spots) and take the right fork up the 4wd track. Rule of thumb is when...More

After hiking up the mountain (about 1 hr 45 min) we were let down. The water coming down was more like a trickle and the base was knee deep. If I had known this, I would've saved myself the pain, agony, and almost a heat...More

This is not sign posted, and we purely only went there as we saw the falls from the main road while driving and tried to find our way there. We were not sure if we were allowed up the road(more like a track) but did...More

From the sounds of other reviews, I think there are multiple ways to experience the falls. Perhaps there are 2? We didn't have the trouble with parking and private land (easy and safe nook for use to park near a power line), there was a...More

Great to know and I would definitely recommend in Moorea. Where are you staying and do you have a rental car? Not sure if there is a legit guided tour since it's a nature trail up to the falls. There might be some local... More
