Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I booked this place with a couple of friends and we paid 550 cedis each. I paid half as deposit and was advised to pay the remaining 20 mins prior to arrival. All instruction was met from my side however the experience was rather disappointing. My friend got burnt from the heat emmiting from the leg stand because there was no protective cover on the bike. Upon complaining to the owner who was unapologetic and showed no concern of the situation but rather informs that the mechanic should come and explain why the bike was unfit for purpose. This showed lack of accountability and a complete negligence to the highest degree because it could have been avoided had the bike been fully inspected.
I also feel like there should have been a couple of stop over for refreshments ie coconut which is easily sourced for customers, perhaps some music just to give a fun vibe as an addition for a nicer experience just as other competitors in the field. Just riding for a whole 1.30mins in the heat was not fun. In fact I realised too late that I should have booked with their competitors who we later realised were a much better choice because they provided the sort of experience we were looking for.
I will not be going back because It's just not worth what we paid for in my opinion.

Fun activity for a group of friends.
The “instructors” are fixated on getting you muddy. For every turn with mud, they will rev their bikes to splash mud on you. Go with a change of clothes because you’ll be wet and muddy by the end of your ride.
Our experience was ruined at the end of the ride because no one was helpful in finding us a place to clean up and change. It was as though they were finished with us because we had paid them.
And go with snacks because you will work up an appetite. All you’ll be given is a small bottle of water (I think it was 150ml or so)
And the stones at the waterfall are slippery be careful.
Please don’t go in jeans. You’ll be uncomfortable.
Finally, you’ll be asked to raise your legs unto the “dashboard” when you go through water. Please do it. The engine gets really heated and so when you go through water, hot water will splash into your legs,
I suggest the ATV Aburi team works on getting customers a decent place to change and wash off the mud. And please give your guests more water to drink.😊

I visited this place 2 weeks ago & Unfortunately for me and my friends, we left this site with a bunch of FLEA bites. Yes, FLEA bites.
This is totally unacceptable. The workers there should advise visitors to wear clothing that completely covers the body when booking. We are STILL suffering the consequences of visiting this place of business. There is a lot of room for improvement!

My wife and I were looking for something different and fun to do and decided to try ATV Aburi. We had a great 2 hours and enjoyed it very much. The owners are very safety conscious and take their time - first time for my wife to ride, and the tour guides were also very good and made all the right calls. Well worth a visit.
