We went to Los Tuneles with a day trip tour from Puerto Villamil. The ride over was a bit rough, but that's because it was the windy season. Among the tuneles themselves it was calm. We first stopped to see some blue-footed boobies up close and personal on land. They were great. We then had a quick lunch and moved... More

A major result of our snorkel trip to Los Tuneles was an enhanced appreciation of the 8-day cruise we had just completed. The lava formations were impressive and we saw seahorses for the first time (although they were difficult to distinguish from the seaweed in which they resided). But the rest of the wildlife – sharks, rays, sea turtles, penguins... More

The boat ride to Los Tuneles is about 50 minutes and not comfortable, but once you get there its really lovely. You don't get a lot of time in each spot, but there is one land stop with boobies and other birds which was really nice. Then you snorkel in two spots which was awesome, but in the second spot... This was one of the best trips we did while we were in the Galapagos. The boat ride out to the tunnels was a bit rough but the tunnels and lava arches and all of the sealife made us quickly forget the boat ride. Penguins, sea horses, turtles, Rays, boobies and so much more. Grab a good guide and go... More

I went for a couple of weeks with my girlfriend to Galapagos. Thisnwas definitely one of the must things to do at the island. From the crew of the boat to the place itself it is a great experience. As everything in Galapagos, things are more expensive than the rest of latin america, but it is worth. Places trully protectec... More

Amazing water quality and visibility! You can see Blue footed boobies from very close. Small walk quite interesting with the path over the water. Avoid cactus.
