A must visit place in Curaçao.
Fantastic food and a million dollar view.
We lived in Curaçao and have been to the restaurant multiple times. We were never disappointed. Their food is an outstanding example of local food, fresh fish, fresh produce, traditional spices.
The service and management were wonderful, accommodating and went above and beyond even helping us during this visit to overcome a payment issue that was generated by a power outage.
The location of this restaurant is unique! On a cliff top with beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea, wildlife and the frequent diver that jumps from their tip of the cliff.
In short, awesome food, service and location.
Try the Lion fish, the kabritu stobá (stewed goat) with funchi (a local version of polenta) and you’ll be amazed!!
Can’t wait to be back!!

The views are amazing, the servers were so nice, the drinks actually have alcohol in them, and the food is good. We passed this place as we were riding around the island on a motorcycle so we turned around and came in; we were there early so it wasn't crowded. Huge iguanas sunning themselves on the cliff was cool. Make sure you jump from the cliff! As noted, the bathroom is a little dingy, but honestly, everything else made up for it.

Breathtaking view!
Margaritas on the rocks made with fresh lime juice, really can't get better than that! The grilled snapper with the beans and rice was the best I had on the island. Service was great and the cost of the food was pretty reasonable. If you want to create a unique memory, jump off the terrace of the restaurant 45 ft down into the mesmerizing blues of the ocean.

We enjoyed this so much we came back 2 days later! Nice place for lunch after swimming with the turtles and beach hopping. Got to see the iguana feeding station and watch the brave people dive off the cliff. The menu had a good mixture of local food and burgers so that everyone in my family was happy.

We came on a Sunday morning for drink and a snack. Not much visitors early on the day so we had a great view. We saw a turtle swimming and the iguanas are walking by. It is a real tourist attraction.

We decided to go to a beach after visiting Shete Boka (. We randomly picked Play Forti and I'm glad we did. The beach is small and hard to walk on because of all the coral but it doesn't matter because the water is beautiful. Clear aqua blue water to swim in and cliffs to jump into the picturesque water if you dare. There was even a hidden beach to the east side behind the big rocks.

We actually read about the cliff diving before our Trip but we had no idea where they were, nor were we planning to visit them. But after being at a nearby beach we did not like, we used our just discovered Maps.Me (the BEST GPS!) to find the closest restaurant for lunch. We wound up sitting at a little restaurant/ bar overlooking Playa Forti beach and bay (it had lots of rocks so not a lot of people were on the beach or in the water) and so we thought we simply had the Best ocean view possible on the island while we waited for our food to arrive (fried Iguana with fries). It really was heaven (not the Iguana) looking down and over the aqua blue water bay. Then we suddenly saw a person or two diving off this cliff at a short distance across the bay. The time between the two dives we witnessed happened over a series of say 30 minutes and so I could not get a diver on video it took so long. Suddenly we realised where we were! At the Diving Cliffs! After lunch I was determined to jump off the 40 ft dive - but actually very few people were doing the dive. More individuals we saw stood on the rock platform (having climbed down to jump), and then hesitated for a while, and turned around and climbed back up and away from their fear and defeat. Further down, and below the 40 ft cliff, there were a couple of kids, while their parents watched on with high anxiety, jumping off a lower 30 ft rock. So my husband and I go over to the 40 ft cliff. I was up first of course up first and I quickly chickened out. You just could NOT see where you would actually dive/land! There was a boat guard out in the bay at a distance to provide some assistance -but whY? I thought? Was he ever really needed? While I backed out of the dive, my husband also decided ABSOLUTELY NO WAY was he going to jump. So I built up the courage instead to dive off the 30 ft cliff since all these young kids (not a lot, mind you) were doing it. Surely I could too? At least there you could see the actual water entry where you were jumping into. It was again so hard mentally to jump, but I did, and the velocity of my entry and splash was astonishing and afterwards a tiny bit scary as I felt my body resurface coming back to the top of the water. I was thrilled however to have accomplished this AND we got it all on video (proof!). With that under my belt I was determined to try the 40 ft dive again. So my husband was filming me again and he was getting impatient with my hesitancy. He was saying "am I doing a video of you 'not jumping?' I was terrified (again) and I still could not see where I would enter the water, but of course I knew it was a safe leap, and that the water was deep, thus keeping anyone from hitting rocks or the bottom (of course!?) Well the travel guide "indicated it was!" safe, and moreover, there was no 'Dive At Your Own Risk' sign. There were also people in the adjacent restaurant (not the one we ate at on the other side of the bay) surely being entertained at watching people either jump, but more certainly, deciding to Not jump. The customers at the table closet to the dive spot were almost at hands length they were so close to me. But as the video kept rolling, I still could not imagine how I was going to prepare myself to actually just jump. Counting to 10 did not work, as I simply hit number 10 (repeatedly) and then just added 11, 12 ....etc. So I just jumped .....it was a hard, but absolutely thrilling/terrifying hit to the water. My breath was absent for a second or two I know. Coming back up took a little longer than the 30 ft dive (scarier) and the equally challenging task was next swimming all the way back to the shore. And ALL on videotape for the rest of my life (I'm 56). I actually had so much fun I re-did the 30 ft dive and then (with more water up my nose on this one) officially declared my retirement from cliff diving (well at least on Curacao). This was the True Highlight of my 5 day trip. And with 2 dives on video, maybe even to be played at my funeral some day!

I love Curaçao, but I jumped off the Playa Forti Cliff on March 26, 2019, and I jumped correctly but I broke my back, fractured three vertebrae, excruciating pain, but the doctors say that I’m very lucky not to be paralyzed. I have to wear a back brace for four months and who knows, I will probably have back issues for the rest of my life. Take my advice and do not jump. Not worth the risk. Here’s a picture of me the day after in the Curaçao hospital wearing my brace.

After watching many youtube videos on this 40-45 foot cliff jump I knew I had to do it. When we arrived there was no one else jumping and I must admit it looked very intimidating. It certainly was my limit for height. I was about to leave defeated when a car load of young adults came and jumped. That gave me the courage to try it. After one jump I had to do it again! The second jump ripped my go pro from my hands when I hit the water. The depth is over 20 feet if I had to guess. If this is too high for you maybe consider doing the Grote Knip Beach cliff jump instead, which is near Kenapa Beach and is about 18 feet high.
