Lace musuem - who would have thought it will be here

Amazing history of how lace making is connected to this town , how the art was almost lost and now revived because the museum gave artists a forum. Sr. Hernandez is very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the craft.

Good display of crafts

Mundillo is a craft of handmade bobbin lace and is still practiced on the Western part of the island. The museum is very small, free, right before the town square. The attendant /guide was excellent and very proud of the local expertise. There are many...More

Pristine and lovely Lace Museum

The charming town of Moca is home to a small museum which traces the history of lace-making in Puerto Rico. The museum is free. The town is charming to walk around in and I recommend walking up the the main plaza.

Colonial history alive here

Small museum located in downtown moca exhibiting the traditional bobbing lace techniques handed down from Spain. Was fortunate enough to have been able to get a tour by its director and found the history of this technique fascinating.
