Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a hidden gem that most tour companies will tell you about. The bridge is built like a wave and our driver "got into it" and gave us a weightless moment as he sped up along the bridge.
It looks very interesting but it's more fun to be in the car or bus with an experienced driver so you can concentrate on your "aha" moment.

Very cool wavy bridge! When you go over it, it feels like a rollercoaster, butterflies in your stomach! At the head of the bridge there are 2 food trucks with reasonably priced snacks! And of course, it's always good to remember that this is a free experience! :)

This is one of the coolest bridges to cross over, kinda like being on a roller coaster that you drive. Once you are on it you want to do it again. The bridge is not that long but it will get your heart to racing.

This landmark bridge was originally just two lanes, but a second span was added to improve traffic flow. Kids love it !

I felt transported being a kid again experiencing the wavy bridge by bus. We were on a small bus of 12 and most of the riders shouted out "ahhs and ohhs" when we peaked at top of the waves. Uruguay might be petite in size but their architectural structures have been a delight to see.

This is a bridge ("puente") you will likely cross motoring from Punta del Este into its calmer, less developed companion city, La Barra. Basically they took what might be an ordinary bridge and added some curvy design features. This is typical of Uruguay...an appreciateion of design and building it into many of tis public structures. Check out the Montevideo airport for another example, this one stunning, of making architecture exciting.
