The stairs are like a challenge so you can see the cave. It's a huge cave and be prepared to slipping floor inside the cave. There are some places in the cave that are very dangerous but in general even children can enjoy. bring water!

It is really1200 steps but on a good clear day definitely worth the climb. The history in the cave is fascinating and although very slippery they have tried to make it safe with places to hold on. If you like adventure and nature this is...More

The cave is sooooo high on the mountain. The route just made me breathless. Cave is normal, not many things to see here. But the bird's eye view of the whole town is quite beautiful.

Nice view and interesting cave, with stalactites and stalagmites. Very cool inside. No guide to explore the cave, unknown how deep it was.

The climb was a bit hard going due to the lack of a breeze and some very doggy steps. we were lucky enough to have the cave all to our selves which added to the experience. It is an interesting enough place and would have...More

Amazing cave well maintained, must see if visiting Mai Chau, with escorted staff from our motel. Formations within the cave are amazing.

I had read about the 1,200 stone steps carved into the mountainside to reach Chieu Cave. Undeterred I got up at 5 a.m. to start the climb in time for sunrise at the summit. I was hardly worth the effort, although it did give me...More
