Went here during a Friday lunchtime and the experience was amazing. Lots of cars (British Cars) dating all the way back to the 18 hundreds. Amazing seeing how cars were then and how they have changed to now. Good experience.

Needing an indoor activity to shelter from the rain this was an ideal choice. Housing hundreds of cars in the museum there are more in a nearby building housing those for conservation and refurbishment. There are exhibits other than cars, all to do with motoring,...More

There is a play area but I doubt if either you nor your child would be relaxed to offer you sufficient time to view all of the exhibits before boredom set in.
