This church is so special! Stunning! A great feature of the beautiful village of Chilham. The bell ringing is a wonderful thing to hear ring out over the Kentish countryside. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited Chilham village as part of a holiday excursion. This lovely old church dates back to the 12th century although it has had restoration and building done through the centuries. I was surprised at its size for such a small village. Although there is a Tudor Castle built at the other end of The Square , what would have been the village green, no doubt the old owner would have been a patron of the Church as was the norm in those days. There are some commenwealth war graves in the cemetry. Some of the church goers provide coffe and biscuits for tourist visitors.…

A nice, old church with tea and coffee facilities but the real attraction is the cemitary surrounding it, telling a story of itself. Recommended!

We were drawn into the church with the sound of the organist playing, the resounded response was to stand inside and just absorb the peaceful beauty of this wonderful village church. This church is obviously well cared for and it was a privilege to visit. Dating from the late 13th century, the tower from around 1534, the North/South isle from 1420 to 1450 and a glass stained window, the East window at 1864. Very interesting, the historical heart of this beautiful English village. Donation, it goes without saying and the guide to Chilham small booklet was purchased.…
