Guided hike was fairly easy hike and was very nice. Was cool getting to see cougars (in cage) along the way.

This is an absolutely beautiful place with lots of wonderful outdoor activities, as described in my review of the hotel with the same name. However, if you intend to go by car to the end of the Camino al Volcan, beware that the quality of the road decreases significantly towards the end and on a busy day like the one... More

Had a lovely experience there! Spent the day zip wiring, canopying and relaxing by the swimming pool. Pool was freeeeezing but its nice to have an ice cream and lay with such a wonderful view. It started great with the wonderful Jorge at reception making us feel welcome and giving us much detailed information. Unfortunately then spoilt by a guy... More

An unique opportunity to do 4 activities in only one location : rafting, horse riding, zip-line and trekking ! The guides speak good english and are very professionnal. The rafting was a must : one hour along the wonderful Maipo canyon. A great expérience. You can also have a lunch on the site.

Our group consisted of 12 college students (all female) from the US and 2 faculty members. We left Santiago about 9, stopped for picnic supplies, and arrived about 11:30. Ate and lounged around the pool for about an hour before getting our safety briefing for the rafting and getting dressed with wet suits, shoes, jacket, life vest and helmet. Our... More

Rafting was excellent. The guide (Julio?!) was very professional, spoke perfect English and we felt safe all the time. We definately recommend it. Great experience! The one hour hiking tour to the waterfalls was okay - there may be more interesting hiking routes. But easily doable with children.

Then We spend time in the pool. The pool is very beautiful. The lunch was very tasty. Finally We made zipline and canopy,... More

We came up from Santiago just for the day. The staff was upper friendly and accomodating. We have two younger kids (4&9) so we decided to just do the trek up to the cascades. I definitely recommend doing this even if you have kids with you. Our guide, Christian, was very considerate and made sure to slow the pace down... More

My husband and I drove to Cascada de Las Animas specifically for the white water rafting excursion. It was a beautiful drive through the Maipo valley. The rafting was great. The instructors were very professional. The safety talk prior to the rafting was thorough. Captain Bill was the instructor in our raft. He spoke excellent English and gave us an... More

It is ok but there are much better hikes in the area. Can only be done with a guide, which is also something the i regret.
