Quiet and peaceful. A great place to view the Humber bridge. Unfortunately the cafe at the visitor centre was closed.

As a former resident of North Lincolnshire we had a special interest, It is many years since we had last been in Barton. The centre is educational and peaceful - well it was when we were there as it was during term time.

We usually go when we have been dog walking but there is an outside area where we can take the dog but this is not good in a winter so we do not go as often even though the hot sandwiches are delicious

We went the first weekend in the month as they were hosting a Christmas craft fayre. Lots of interactive exhibits for children and live viewings on screens of wildlife. Nice shop and cafe. Lovely views of the estuary. Great parking.
