About
The visit to the farm is a complete experience: it starts with the tour of the vineyards with an explanation of our philosophy based on biological farming and biodynamic processes, it then proceeds to the winery where the grapes are transformed into wine and the wines are bottled and stored for aging. It is also possible to have a guided tour of the olive oil mill where we explore the different stages of the extra virgin olive oil production. At the end of the tour we taste the wines and our extra virgin olive oil specially paired with some of our traditional locally-produced food.

Amazing wine tour
Aug. 2020 • Couples
Francesca was such a sweet host, she showed us the whole vineyard and farm, answered all our questions, explained everything. Amazing family business, delicious wines and local foods. If you want an authentic Italian experience, you have to do this! We paid 20 euro's per person for a 1.5 hour tour + wine and cheese and meat tasting (actually lasted 2.5 hrs, our host really took the time to explain and let us try everything with patience). If you go here, I recommend you buy some of their wines and olive oil. Besides the amazing, delicious, organic and healthy way in which their products are cultivated and made, you would also invest in an authentic, sincere 100% family business. Excellent experience, wish you all the best, Casa di Baal ♡♡♡

A wonderful place!
Jul. 2020 • Family
Earlier this month, we were looking for a vineyard to visit on our way back from Paestum to Napoli. We sent an email enquiring into the possibility of visiting the farm on the evening before. We quickly received an email reply (in perfect English) from Laura, who was also our host during the visit, to confirm a private tour for the next morning.

The visit itself was wonderful. Laura proved to be an amazing host, taking lots of time to explain the workings of the farm and the family’s history and goals. She did so with lots of passion and in perfect English. We also met her sister Francesca, who produces the family’s wine. Annibale, the pater familias, even found the time to sit with us, which was wonderful.

The visit was also lots of fun for our three-year old son, as there were many children of the family around.

The farm has an impressive vineyard and olive trees, and the family produces wonderful wine and olive oil on the premises. What is more, the family aims to be entirely self-sustaining, growing all types of amazing fruits and vegetables. During our visit, we had the pleasure of tasting wonderful cold cuts and cheese made by the family together with the family’s wines and olive oil.

We wholly recommend a visit to Casa di Baal!

(The picture is not representative of the place as it only shows a few trees but it’s the only picture we thought of taking.)

Visit to a winery
Jul. 2019 • Friends
An Italian family just as you imagine it! To visit Casa di Baal is a visit you will never forget. You are met with warmth and love and great passion for what they do. The wine is genuine and the olive oil is fantastic. We visited many of the big wineries to and that’s interesting in another way, here we got to know the family tradition and the small scale organic winery. We also got the most wonderful Italian lunch, it was so good! I really recommend a visit!

Beautiful winery in Campania
Jul. 2019 • Family
Casa di Baal is a wonderful winery and olive farm. The hosts / tour guide was fantastic, and a tasting for two included all the wine we wanted, espresso, and a delicious snack plate. She was also very patient with our kids and gave us a great tour of the winemaking facilities, the old olive presses, and the grounds. It was a wonderful day, and the wines are delicious too! Five stars!

Italian family at its best
Feb. 2019 • Family
Beautiful farm run by Annibale Salerno and his family where they produce amazing organic wines (reds, whites and sparkling) and olive oil. Off the beaten track but not far at all. Worth a visit to be shown around by the family. A warm welcome awaits you for the tour and tasting of their fantastic produce. Do not miss the opportunity.

Beautiful Place and best wine tasting
Sep. 2018 • Friends
I am part of a small group of friends with a passion for traveling and wine. This place was recommended by friend from the area. The winery is located on the hills and has beautiful mountains on the back and a view of the Amalfi Coast ahead.
It was the third winery we had visited on the same day but Casa di baal was our absolute favourite. This place is magical and the time spent there was probably the best and the most authentic we had while in Italy. The tour and tasting was given by the daughter of the winemaker. She was really knowledgeable and personable and the owner himself sat with us and spent time sharing his experience and stories.
They poured a generous amount of wine – the wines were fantastic – accompanied by tasty homemade and home grown food.
They really made us feel like part of the family and I learned a lot about wines as they took the time to tell us about the details in winemaking.
Afterwards we went to visit one of the many local dairy farms near the winery. In fact this area is the land of the buffalo mozzarella and it is also just a stone’s throw from the temples of Paestum.
Fantastic day and this tour was by far one of my favorite things we did in the two weeks traveling through Italy!

Hidden gem and wonderful wines!
Aug. 2018 • Family
My family and I always try to avoid the most touristic spots and we were lucky enough to find this hidden gem, between the Amalfi Coast and Paestum. It’s an organic self-sufficient winery and olive oil mill and everything they eat is produced at the farm.
It’s run by this lovely family and they all live on the estate. Reservation was smooth and they were pretty flexible with dates and timings; on our arrival we were welcomed with a glass of their classic method spumante and some homemade ‘’taralli’’.
They showed us their vineyards, the olive grove and fruit orchards – on the way we stopped to eat some figs straight from the trees – and then they showed us their olive oil mill where they produce extra virgin olive oil.
Afterwards they took us to the winery where they explained in the detail the winemaking process and showed the wine cellars.
At the end we enjoyed all the wine tasting and the mamma arrived with some warm ‘’pizza fritta’’ - which was offered in addition to the delicious wine tasting menu we had agreed.
Definitely not your average touristic spot, but the real experience of an Italian winery, surrounded by an affectionate and proud Italian family, a perfect place to relax but also to learn more about wines and winemaking.
The wines and olive oil we tasted were some of the best we ever had and we also asked them to send some back home.
Wonderful experience and definitely recommend!
