Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Love this beautiful town, people are friendly. Its a part of Italy which is not known , and yet its just 20mins drive from savona, which is also not a popular place.Today visited Ferranta film museum in Cairo montenotte , interesting place to visit, The 2 guys where really knowledgeable and where bilingual italian / english. Would recomend a visit if your in this part of Italy.

The centre of Caïro is easy to recognize. Some of the towers of the walls are still standing and so are most of the gates. This is a medieval (if not Roman) city that might escape your attention because of the ugly high rise that were built around it. It still has the old arcades at some places, where the open air yards was conducted. You will find lots of nice small restaurants here and en some shops that are worthwhile. Thursday is marketday. Look for the cheese man in the small square who gives away a one man show for the women there and there are always some people sitting at the side drinking wine and eating his cheese. Great fun.

Cairo is not what you would call a tourist magnet. And maybe that's exactly the charm of this place. It breathes the charm of an old
Provincial city with the function of a market (Thursday's) a few good restaurants. Bakeries, small shopping street, good cafe and some bars that offer late night fun.
It is small enough to be cozy and big enough to offer your type of fun.
