I was always fascinated with temples! The place is very calm and very secluded. Try to wear walking shoes because it has a lot offer. Come early too, to see the main temple above the mountain!

Kind of out of the way, impressive head welcomes bus tours and car traffic. Many other Buddhas, a reclining, a skinny, a fat one, a moderne; also a climbing walk has nice views. A mural painting, the 500 family figures, all in the Buddhist way.

Peaceful & lovely temple. It's the world's biggest wooden Buddhist sculpture that has been registered in the Guinness Book of records. It's 8m high Buldu. Somehow i find this place similar to my home country temple ^^

This visit was unexpected but I enjoyed it. Located about an hour by car from where I was staying next to Suwon Station, the Temple seems mainly visited by locals although I did see some signs which indicated that the Temple is also visited by...More

This off the beaten track temple should be viewed especially if you are looking for a place that may rate high. It may have the largest Buddha head sculpture in the world. The other grounds offer an array of prayer temple, statues, and a huge...More
