Whether a Holden or a Ford person, this is a nostalgic collection. Heard many times "this is like the one I had", or "dad had one of these", "I can remember my uncle having this car" and on it went. "What about those venetian blinds", "look at the sun visor", "love the paint colours", "what's a wind guard?". Not a large collection but impressive, along with the key moments in Holden car manufacturing in Australia listed on building walls. Easy to do in an hour. Cafe and toilets on site and plenty of parking options.

It is a small place and have all the Holden car's models from 1940s to 2022. You can spend maximum 1 to 2 hours in this place. They close little early in the evening.

To clarify, I am not a car fan... however, the way all of the cars and info are set up and shown off, i appreciated and enjoyed the museum! Many of the early cars are in incredible condition - many untouched. Plenty of interesting related objects and items peppered throughout too.

As a Holden owner and nut, we always visit these places. Although small, it was very clean, as expected , and had a good variety of vehicles. Watch for the opening hours as they vary. Not much information on some of the vehicles which was disappointing and not a lot of Holden memorabilia on display in the museum section. Not taken by the gift shop, a bit tacky. Staff member seemed uninterested and even commented that she had “forgotten we were there”.! Entry price cheap enough and didn’t bother with the cafe section. If travelling in Gippsland, Vic, try the Trafalgar Holden Museum, run by volunteers but a much better experience.

Great to see. Well payed out and friendly staff.
Only needs more cars if possible and the Time Line completed on the wall. That was very informative and interesting.
