Unless you are familiar with the archeology and prehistory of Santa Catarina this won't make much sense, but then, perhaps you should get interested! It's an easy stop when traveling from Urubici towards the Avencal waterfalls.

this will take about five minutes to see, unfortunately. Sort of hard to get excited about a few scratches on a rock that look like they could be done by some kid last week. Not a must see!

It is just about a few drawings on the rocks, which personally not look very old. It may be a totally wrong opinion, since I am not an archaeologist. If neither you are, use your time in another local attraction.

If you think about the importance of this archaeological site it is unbelievable how poorly it is being maintained. I hope some day the tourism is taken more seriously in this country (and I am Brazilian).
