Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Karla Noh started the tour by welcoming us in her native tongue, Maya. Even though I didn't understand, I enjoyed listening to the dialect.
Along with the Jipijapa plant, we learned about the native trees and plants and their medicinal properties and importance to the environment.
We had an educational nice in the underground cave where Jipijapa hats a made.
I really enjoyed the art gallery where the art can be purchased.

The museum and accompanying tour were economically priced and well worth it! We were left with a sense of connectedness to the Mayan culture, medicinal plants, and local artisans. So glad we chose to stop. Gracias Karla!

Before you buy a hat, stop here and listen to the history of the jipi hats(Panama Hats). They even take you into a cave and show you how they are made.

Horrible town! DO NOT GO!
worst place to visit there is nothing here to see or do, we could not even stop because of how unsafe we felt as we arrived here
sketchy town with sketchy people

History, culture, ecology, art, human rights, all this promotes the museum that is a little hidden in its location, the guides especially Jorge and Alez are super attentive, answer any questions and try, this formidable, is clean and sure the very large parking lot, to be in such a small town is a great museum
