- LincolnBestLefkada, Greece762 contributionsOkay but not greatActually okay but not great. To start with it’s a glorified swimming pool complex, with the majority of stuff indoors. There were no really quiet areas, even the quiet outside pool area had pop music blaring out. Midweek morning and it was stuffed with teenage boys, I can safely say that the male polish swagger is in evidence at around 14! Spotlessly clean to be fair but everything is a palaver, the outside pools are on ground and -1 levels, reception and lockers are on ground, cafes etc are on +1 and the saunas re up at the top on +2. Don’t forget your towel if you go into the sauna, otherwise you have to buy one to sit on. Got me warm (6 inches of snow on the ground and -7 today) but not really worth the 1.5 - 2 hr trek to get here.Visited December 2023Travelled soloWritten 6 December 2023
- Karen MurdochKendal, United Kingdom271 contributionsFabulous thermal bathsFabulous thermal baths up in the mountains, visited for my birthday and have to say it was wonderful to be outside in a thermal pool and sipping a Prosecco martini whilst the snow came down. Plenty of choice in pools/jacuzzi and hot tubs, but a word of warning the day we were there they were extremely busy with family’s with young children so not always as relaxing as it might otherwise have been! We ate in the restaurant which was excellent - if Polish is not your first language then ask for the menu in English - so much easier! A great day out.Visited November 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 13 December 2023
- francis_61jbSingapore, Singapore423 contributionsgreat thermal bath experience with water slides not to be missed in zakopaneWe had to go early as it was Christmas Eve and public buses don’t run in the afternoon. Even then, we were charged 10zolty to reach the bus stop of the chocholowska thermal bath from Targowica. Ticket was 99 zolty and 79 for senior citizen. It was a fun filled 2/3 hours. Please bring swimming clothes. Please bring your own towels. Otherwise each towel cost 10zolty and no one cares to explain in any other language !!!! Normal ticket excludes access to saunararium (unclothed) and spa. You are provided one locker per person. Facilities that were available are salt’sauna’ something similar to graduation tower at Wieliczka, normal wet steam sauna, 2 levels of outdoor thermal pools (bottom level is more fun and has poolside bar), water slides and the heart-dropping vertical drop not for the faint hearted and elderly, a hot jacuzzi. We came out early at 1230, do not want to be caught with the mad rush for the last bus at 130pm. the bus is even smaller than the minibus which was available in my country. Wait. Wait. Wait. Eventually, a taxi came and there were eight of us, including locals. it was 80zolty divided equally. And it cost us the same as a bus ticket!! I am happy to answer any questions.Visited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten 1 January 2024
- KTP310Reading, United Kingdom1,220 contributionsAmazing and immaculate spa bathsI arrived just before the opening time of 9am and the pools were noticeably quieter and more relaxed for the first couple of hours. A 3 hour ticket (you are allowed 3 hours 15 minutes) was just right to try out all the different pools, both indoor and outdoor. The setting is amazing and the upkeep is immaculate. It was such an experience to be in the lovely warm water in the outdoor areas whilst it was snowing! The minibus back to Zakopane can be caught from a bus stop with the car park.Visited January 2024Travelled soloWritten 12 January 2024
- irenaepsteinIsrael296 contributionsFamily trip to ZakopaneA lovely and warm place. Very comfortable. You can buy tickets by the hour or a full day ticket. There is plenty of parking and if you forgot something, there are shops to buy everything that is missing. There are restaurants in the Termo area and it is very convenient to just drop by for lunch. Plenty of warm and pleasant pools including pools under the sky with an open bar right in the pool.Visited January 2024Travelled with familyWritten 21 January 2024
- nick wLondon, United Kingdom1,328 contributionsSlightly Chaotic But EnjoyableThe sheer number of people visiting means a degree of bedlam near tge entrance and in the changing areas. The main pools upstairs pools get really busy too but there are also some much quieter warm pools on the ground floor that most don't seem to realise exist. Upstairs has a variety of warm indoor pools, including ones for children, and an outdoor one that enjoys spectacular mountain views. Downstairs are some smaller pools and a small bar area. There are also water slides, a restaurant and shop on site and a few bars. There are changing cubicles available if required and hair dryers. Bring your own towel.Visited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 21 January 2024
- Rod F19 contributionsCrowded but funWe bought evening tickets when the thermal baths are, in theory, less crowded. On a Saturday in the February winter break, it was packed solid. The car park was a bit of a nightmare but we got a space in the end. The organisation is excellent with the wristbands getting you inside, opening lockers and paying for drinks and food. All the pools were crowded, upstairs outside was the nicest, downstairs outside, with DJ and bar in the pool, was the craziest. If you don't mind crowds, it is a great place but if you prefer something quieter and have a car, I would recommend Meander aquapark just over the border in Slovakia.Visited February 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 11 February 2024
- Tracy T13 contributionsOutstanding Thermal BathsWe went on Sunday - visiting the thermal baths over the weekend is more costly than during the week. Take a towel with you and wet slippers or sliders if you have as you cannot enter the changing rooms with shoes. There are lockers which is great and you are required to shower before entering the baths/pools so everyone is nice and clean to start with. The variety of pools and baths is amazing, there are two huge outside pools and three slides to keep the kids entertained while the adults enjoy a drink in the pool outside - yes you there is a bar in the lower pool outside. We imagine during summer there are awesome parties here as there was a stage on one side too. Music is playing and the pools are 36'C with a spectacular view of the snowy mountains. As we entered the pools it started snowing - totally surreal and beautiful. We'll be back before we head home for sure!!Visited March 2024Travelled with familyWritten 25 March 2024
- SprotaDolny Kubin, Slovakia2 contributionsArrogant cashier workers.I parked according to the parking attendant's instructions in the place he showed me. After an hour, my car was announced and I had to come to the cash desk. There, the workers informed me that I had to park in another place. I received no explanation and no apology. So I decided to dry off and go out to park the car. This is a very unpleasant approach to customers. I was left outraged. Big minus for this experience.Visited May 2024Travelled with familyWritten 8 May 2024
- Paul D1 contributionChocholow Thermal Baths with transfer from KrakowWe really enjoyed it. On a weekday in May it wasn't overcrowded. It's fairly new so the facilities aren't tired at all. I like the wristband thing where you can charge food and drink to that while you are there and pay when you leave. There is a shop selling swimwear, flip flops etc if you don't have them with you and we were pleasantly surprised, as the stuff is OK and not overpriced. We went on a Chocholow Ticket and Transfer from Krakow with Cracow Top Tours and that worked well. Our driver Maciek was a good guy and managed the pick ups and drop offs very well.Visited May 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 22 May 2024

We went midweek here and at about 10am which I would definitely recommend getting there early as when we were leaving at 1pm it was PACKED. The pools were a lovely experience especially the outdoors ones. We got the 4 hour ticket which is more than enough, given lots of the pools are for kids you don't need more than 4 hours. The pool bar outside opens at 11 which was really nice. There are free lockers but I recommend you bring your own towel and flip flops (you can hire towels on the 2nd floor if needed).
We stayed in Zakopane so got the local bus over to the baths. You get on at Zakopane Targowica (main bus stop in the town) and it's 10zloty to the spa. Coming home, the buses from the baths directly in the car park were only every couple hours. So we walked just outside down the road (left out of the baths car park) and there is another bus stop Witow Dolny just outside a little shop. We jumped on there to get home.

The thermal baths itself was quite nice, lovely temperature and lots of different pools, very busy but we had expected this from other reviews.
We went to the sauna, hadn’t realised it was a naked sauna so was an interesting experience. We accidentally ended up in the hourly ‘show’ where an instructor basically wafted the heat from the coals - not what we were expecting but seemingly normal to the locals!
Final thing about the baths, most of the signs were in Polish so not everything was clear but we managed!
Getting there was a nightmare however. We got a bus from Krakow to Zakopane which was easy. However at Zakopane, it was a temporary bus station (according to google maps) and it was chaos, nothing was signposted so didn’t know where to go to get the bus. We asked a couple of bus drivers but they either didn’t speak English or pointed us in different places.
Lots of these buses only take cash so make sure you have Zloty!
And leave plenty of time as it took us 5 hours to get there from Krakow!

Far too many people allowed in, seriously over crowded, dirty and unsafe as a result.
All staff we came across especially the manager Dzgmaqru extremely rude and unfriendly, they all come across like they hate their jobs and paying customers.
Charged us adult price for our 14 year old because he didn’t have a passport, who takes a passport swimming!
Avoid this place like the plague!!

There are hot thermal baths in mineral water (up to 36°C), swimming pools, water massages, yakuza, several restaurants with a large selection of delicious food, many types of saunas, ice baths, salt caves, rest rooms, a bar, a nudist roof terrace and also massages, applied dry needling therapy, pinotherapy and many other treatment procedures. The equipment is very nice and functional, the environment is very pleasant, logically designed and fully functional. We recommend visiting, including massages. Masseur Martin helped me a lot with the still incurable pain in my left hand using dry needling therapy. This pain bothered me for 10 years! We treated ourselves to a two-day stay with all services and we are extremely satisfied. We will definitely be back here soon. We highly recommend a visit to this spa.

My husband and I were really looking forward to our trip here and we didn’t even last 30 mins. From the moment you step into the changing room, it is packed full of people and not an enjoyable experience. Once we got into the water it got even worse! All the indoor pools were totally full and we couldn’t get in, we only just managed to squeeze ourself into a space as there were so so many people. We had 30 mins in the pool and left as we hated it.
Don’t bother with this place, it’s pure greed to make money.

My first and for sure not last time in Termy Chochołowskie. I bought an open carnet because I was curious how all property look like, but I am truly vibing with saunas. The swimming Pool part is great. Each floor is organized very well, I love Rocket Water Slide and the bar in the swimming pool. The only thing was that 70% of pool loungers were with towels, just with towels without any personal kinds of stuff. So people "booked" loungers just to have that not to use them because all of them were in the water and I took a lot of time to find a place for resting few minutes. The saunatorium is amazing. There are many types of saunas and rituals, large variations of baths, and amazing views of the Tatra mountains. I send there a few hours and in this time in every sauna, really every sauna I heard loud conversations and "good morning", "goodby" every time when someone came in or out. If there is a silence rule there should be silence. I came there to relaxed not to listen to business deals and family dramas. It was the first time something like that happened to me in saunas. So 4 stars I give because I would like a crew to educate people more about how they should behave in saunas so that next time I come I also can get relaxed. In general, all property is great and I can recommend going there. The crew is really professional. Food is delicious as well.

Hello my family and I are planning to come there in December and we're going to stay in Zakopane. If we come there at around 4pm do we find transport to go back to Zakopane later on please?at around 7pm or 8pm?thanks

Your best bet is to have your hotel arrange the transport for you. We paid like $30 USD each way in a very nice car. It could be difficult to get a cab at the water park.
