This trip couldn't have been more perfect, the Mazurka is a fantastic and affordable liveaboard, with proper toilet and shower, a big galley, double bedroom, triple bunk room and several bunks between. Skipper Kevin and crew/dm Kent were an absolute pleasure to spend three days with - so much so we all went for pizza and drinks on the dock... More

Set off with the skipper, Kevin, and in less than thirty minutes we were tied up to the mooring above the Waikato wreck. Super dive, lots of sea-life and reasonably clear water. Then, up top for a hot meal followed by a trip out to the Poor Knights. Bit of a sea running; but, we just settled in and Kevin... More

There is no better way to dive the Poor Knights. The crew is amazing. Competitive pricing. Can easily fit 5 dives in a day. Last but not least, you definitly won't leave the boat hungry!

Every morning we heard on the radio about other dive operators heading out with 30+ divers on their boat and I knew I had made the right choice. Our group had seven divers and whilst the MV Mazurka is tight below decks she is a VERY functional and comfortable dive boat. Kevin runs a fantastic operation and is amazingly skilled... More

...Especially when you can go out on a small yet professional boat. With 6 divers on board, when we dived it was like diving alone. Each pair did their own thing, often at different levels. So while we all saw the same things, we saw them at different times and in isolation - as opposed to the huge numbers diving... More

You will not regret choosing a weekend in the company of Kev the skipper of the Mazurka. I have dived quite a bit now around the Poor Knights islands and I hope to enjoy diving off the back of this boat after a three year hiatus. I think it is the only boat in NZ at time of writing to... More

This is a small no frills liveaboard -- which is perfect if what you want is small groups and overnight trips to dive the Poor Knights! Kevin and crew were great hosts, dive guides, skipper, etc..... The winds were strong and coming from south/SW so this limited our diving to a select few sites on the west coast of the... More

Did a 9 day whole boat charter of Mazurka with Kev and Kent. Diving was spectacular, with in water sightings of both orcas and mantas. Kev and Kent turned on the hospitality, including a great night on New Years Eve out at the Poor Knights Islands. Not the first time I've been with them, and certainly not the last. Bare... More

We dived with OceanBlue Adventures as part of a group from the University of Auckland diving club. We were well looked after and had a fantastic time. Kevin and Kent looked after divers of all abilities and were more than happy to go the extra mile for us. The food was great, the accommodation comfortable and the diving was amazing!... More
