Pleasant seaside venue for families or friends.

Secluded sandy beach with adequate parking and reasonable public loos. The Mara beach-hut cafe offers reasonably priced hot and cold beverages; ice cream and ice lollies; Cornish pasties, hot dogs and sandwiches..

Kennack car park by beach don't be fooled
Aug. 2021 • Couples
Car park is just park though machines taped apparently not working was told the app and code doesn't either. It does!, its 809606 just park, had to pay a lady £5 on gate for all day not allowed any other time. Told to park so hardly any space next to the next car, just trying to get what they can. My advice go on the app at top of hill or say you'll go to part of car park when app does work and pay for what you want.

Beach ok, not the best not the worse. Does have a lifeguard on duty. Shop expensive and runs out, so very glad we had some things with us. Great area for paddleboarding and snorkeling.

Amazing beach but poor facilities
Aug. 2021 • Family
Beach was lovely, sadly the only cafe open was Mora ,very poor customer service ignored us twice , like we where invisible.
On two occasions my daughter (8yrs old) tried to buy an ice cream, not only was she left standing there as the vender ignored her but two adults also pushed in front of her. She left with out her icecream and in tears.
Beach is beautiful so take your own drinks and snacks will be cheaper too .

Just what you want from a beach
Jun. 2021 • Family
Nice sandy beach. Reasonably good access by car (on the day we paid £4 to pay for the day). Lifeguards on site. Nice area only clean sandy beach. A couple of places to get food and drinks if you want.

Just what you are after if you have a young family

Clean Beach with useful facilities
May 2021 • Family
Nice clean sandy beach with toilets (almost on the beach) and two nice cafe/shops serving bacon/sausage/egg rolls, Cornish pasties, sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers etc. hot/cold drinks and ice creams. Life guard present on beach. Kids has a great swim. There was the odd jelly fish, but that was the only negative.

Good beach to spend some time on
Apr. 2021 • Family
We stopped here after a visit to Cadgwith the day prior. The beach sits at the end of a thin and twisty road, the sort you doing want to meet someone who cant reverse!

It has good parking, toilets and two lovely beach cafes. The ene nearest the beach was open and the food and drink where both excellent.

Both beaches are I would say average given other beaches aren't backed into by a very ugly and collapsing sea wall. That said this is a nice beach to wonder along, the further beach being dog friendly all year long. The water looked clean and inviting.

A bit uninspiring for the lizard
Sep. 2020 • Couples
We walked there from Cadgwith and were a bit non plussed. The lizard has some great beaches and coves, but this was a bit of a disappointment - just a bit of sand near some holiday camps. Both cafes were out of most things at 1pm and toilets in a bit of a state. Kaynance is obviously the money shot beach, but Poldhu and Coverack are better choices for a quiet swim.

Great beach, lovely location.
Toilets available however in desperate needs of some some money spending on them.
2 cafe to choose from both good. With good food and drink options

On holiday at sea acres.
Sep. 2019 • Couples
Being the nearest beach to sea acres holiday park we had to give it a visit. Took our puppy dog along and had a lovely time. Even though it rained on every visit it didn't stop us. Very nice beach. Steep hills for the dog walking beach for anyone who not so good with hills especially steep ones. Will definitely be back in the future for another visit.
