Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful little lake in the heart of Nebrodi. Ideal for trekking or a picnic. We spotted cows, wild boar, goats and horses. We trekked here in June but the weather was still ideal and not too hot. Two hours walk further on you can reach lake Biviere.

If you want to spend one day or more with nature- this place for you. Long road >18 km to walk on the mountains, little river, domestic animals (horses, goats, cows), fresh air.
Perfetto!

We visited the lake and its surroundings during a trek on the occasion of the Nebrodi black pig festival. Exciting experience. Advised

Very nice place and quite nice along the path (if you have a low car you will have to leave it a few kilometers before and walk, but I would not see it as a negative considering the view.

But if you thought to get there and relax you will be disappointed: the place is infested with subhumans in tent cities with generator sets and music of dubious taste shot at ball (and no, not with simple bluetooth speakers).

Important premise: the place is beautifully landscaped!
If, however, you go to stay a day, immersed in nature, it is better to choose other.
The places, in fact, are literally invaded by noisy and polluting off-road vehicles, cars, motorcycles, quads, crosses, which, honestly, I still do not understand why they are allowed to access, in such heavenly places.

Third time I go. An enchanting place... ruined by off-road vehicles, cars, motorbikes, as if we were in the city. And then, plastic bags, glasses, plates, dirty handkerchiefs... in short, the era of walking through the woods, immersed in the silence of nature, has definitively passed, between the dust raised by the vehicles, the smell of petrol and the noise of motocross bikes.
