Not only does Cairn o’ Mount viewpoint provide fabulous views of the surrounding countryside, but no matter which way you approach it, you are sure of a fabulous drive. It’s a super road.

Lovely contemplative spot, to see so far and so many different landscapes by simply turning on the spot - brilliant. Often windy though, so you get to experience nature as well as view it. Well worth stopping.

Always a popular spot, even on a snowy day! You can see for miles. Think this was the first ever time we had the car park to ourselves!

The viewpoint is at almost the highest point on the infamous Cairn O'Mount road between Fettercairn and Banchory/Aboyne: not a road for the faint-hearted driver as in places it is narrow, steep, twisty - or all three - with occasional sheep and deer and pheasants...More

Smack in the middle of a lovely scenic road, on a clear day the views are quite spectacular. Look one way and you can see the sea, look another way and you have lovely hills covered in Heather

This viewpoint has a great panoramic view and on a good, clear day takes your breath away. Great to see the sea from the top. Wow.
