We parked near the cemetery at the foot of the hill in the large free car park but you can drive up and hope there is space in the small car at the top. The walk up is short but steep. Great place for a...More

Free parking at base of the hill allows a short walk to the tower, the mill, which has a small restaurant, further parking and a pond. Seems a popular place to picnic. We saw lizards and a grass snake. There is also a restaurant at...More

We stayed in Mont-Dol for a couple of days and discovered a very nice path up the hill leading to an old wind mill and a chapel with an impressive view point. It’s worth taking the pedestrian path with the warning sign which says that...More

Terry and I headed to the top of Mont Dol (There's a narrow road from the center of the village to the small park at the summit of Mont Dol). We were not disappointed when we got there. The view over the bay is absolutely...More

But still a great way to start the day. We stopped here for our first stop in Brittany. The tower is easy to climb and tge view is great - or would have been after the mist had cleared! 1783.

Worth a detour for outstanding views across the reclaimed marshlands from the summit of the Mont. Small but adequate car park at the top. Worthwhile climbing to the top of the tower upon which is situated a statue of the Virgin Mary via a narrow...More

This was the second time we'd visited but the weather wasn't kind to us and we didn't get much of a view. You could just about make out the triangular Mont St Michel in the distance.
