Amazing experience visiting these sandstone caves - high ceilinged and reaching pitch black darkness - the access is not difficult and the caves are so spacious you don’t have to bend or crawl.

Amazing rock formations, caves and nature (tapirs, birds). The blue lake is obviously beautiful, but the other caves are just as impressive. Sergio Pavão (Pé na Trilha) was our guide, and he was a very nice and experienced guy. Recommended!

Beautiful cave with light blue waters. You are not allowed to swim in it, but it is beautiful to see and take pictures,

Lagoa Azul is a spectacular cave which is at its best around 2pm in the afternoon when the sunlight creates an extra blue hue in the water. Plenty of macaws, parrots near to the cave so be alert for an excellent photo opportunity. Also near...More

Sttuning place to visit! Unfortunately, baths are not allowed! So after a long walk under the sun and extreme heat of the area, there's no other reward besides the view! Also, as it's a cave hidden in the forest, sunlight only reaches the water inside...More

You walk some kilometers to arrive at the caves. The pity is that you can not swim at the blue cave, where it is flooded. It is nice if you like caves but as I prefer waterfalls, there is one near the entrance that you...More
