Just like the sailors of old, you’d recognize this Venetian island by the picturesque pastel-colored houses and buildings visible from its shores. Burano also is famous for its intimate lace, an art its people want to keep alive.

You do not get to see very colourful houses near one another therefore being there and enjoying that art or design was spectacular. Would recommend you to visit and explore this island.

Burano is so beautiful. The colorful homes are like eye candy. The atmosphere there just brought me joy! We had a nice lunch at a restaurant there and just really enjoyed walking through the town. It was a lovely way to spend an afternoon,

Great little island with multi coloured houses. The church is especially worth seeing. Some of the lace shops try to pressurise you into buying.
