We booked a 2 hr ride, I'm still fairly novice rider mostly only riding horses when travelling and my friend had more experience. Our horses were great and looked like they'd been cared for quite well by the ranch. Our guide didn't know much english,...More

I went for a ride yesterday and had the most amazing experience. Mind you, I read one review about a couple with 20+ years of riding experience and how they were disappointed, but for me, who had very little experience, it was amazing. The horses...More

DO NOT GO HERE. In short: the horses look terrible. Completely underfed, with open wounds from the saddle/girth and full of dirt. The horses were simply not taken care of, AT ALL. My horse would only move forward if beaten with a whip by the...More

Dear MdC, It is very unfortunate for us that your experience was unsatisfactory. Our ranch is owned by animal lovers and they keep horses first and foremost, due to their love of riding and sharing this experience with guests. We have a private well and...More

My wife and I booked an all day horseback ride to Pheasants Tears winery from the living roots ranch. Our guides and horse handler were amazing and the horses are safe with comfortable saddles. We rode through valleys and passed small villages and towns. The...More

Totally loved it. The horses are great and they have quite a choice, so the amateurs can enjoy too. A few hours of horse riding, along with mesmerising views, was pleasantly tiring. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely will visit again.

One of the best things I did in Georgia. They were flexible and helpful and we really liked the horses, guide, amazing view and path and the price. Do yourself the favor and go even if you're not a rider, horses are very tame and...More

Visited as a couple, a novice (ridden before but more holding on) and an experienced rider. The horses were well looked after and the owner guide was a very nice man. We took a short trip late afternoon which finished just before dark, it was...More

The horses they have at Living Roots Ranch are great! Having never ridden before they chose a wonderfully calm horse for me. I actually relaxed on the horse. The Ranch itself has a beautiful bohemian charm, it is actually a shame you can't stay there...More
