Staff are exceptionally knowledgeable about the wines, and very friendly. Not all wines were to my taste - they do a mix of Georgian varietals and methods and European ones. The Rose and the organ wines were great.

Very pretentious. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place. I came here with my mother (restaurant owner) and it looked really nice at the beginning but it turned out as a horrible experience. The wines were good though. We only had soup because the we...More

The place is not worth of the money!!! One GLASS of wine costs 10 dollars (15-30 Gel) 8 minutes walk away you could get one liter of same quality wine for 2 dollars. Food was medium too. REALLY NOT WORTH IF GOING THERE!

We made lunch reservation at the winery couple of days prior to our trip out of Tbilisi to Sighnaghi. The trip takes two hours to get to and we were looking forward to the meal and wine tasting. Well, the winery canceled our reservation the...More

We had an absolutely lovely lunch sitting outside in their beautiful courtyard. Everything was cooked to perfection, the beet leaf salad with caramelised onions was especially good! It's a vegetable-heavy menu, which was great for us. Food came promptly, and service was the best we've...More

I made the error of asking the price of a small Turkomen rug about 1.0msq. The opening price of $1000 US was enough to bring a tear to my eye let alone any stray pheasant which may have been in the vicinity! Perhaps it was...More

During an afternoon stay at this place we’ve had wine, cheese and a soup. The food wasn’t very delicious, it was served very carelessly. The waiter seemed to be very insecure and on the same hand rough. We would have loved to sit outside within...More

I should preface this review by saying that I am no aficionado when it comes to wine - merely someone who enjoys it and is inquisitive to try new and different kinds. We visited the Pheasant's Tears Winery because it was recommended by almost everyone...More

Food was good and you receive large portions. Wine tasting was ok but nothing really blew our minds. Staff is friendly and was able to accommodate us even though we did not have a reservation. It is a very laid back place. There prices have...More

We had heard mixed reviews but decided to come here anyway and were not disappointed. The red wine we had was DELICIOUS! I bought a second bottle to take back to NZ with me. The food was also fantastic, especially the eggplant and tomato dish....More
