Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were there last week with French friends who live locally and who wanted to taste and buy.
We had first visited the other location, Oenotheque des Vins de Bandol, then driven the short distance to this second branch in order to compare the two and to perhaps find different bottles open.
Very scenic drive through the vineyards behind Bandol to the outskirts of le Castellet. This is a really beautiful location, being surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, in total contrast to the stark modernity of the Oenotheque des Vins de Bandol. They also have free parking. If you can only visit one, this should be it for the setting alone.
Both offer the same selection of bottles for sale at the same prices, the only difference between them is which bottles are open for tasting on the day of your visit.
Again, only five were open here and available for tasting that day. Was explained to us that when a bottle is finished, a different one is opened, and therefore it is just luck which ones you can actually taste during your visit.
As at Bandol, bottles are nicely displayed but without pricing, which is detailed in a handy price list you take around the displays with you.
Bottles on the current wine list vary from E9-50 to E48 for a regular bottle (there are some magnums) with many in the E12-E20 price range.
The salesperson here was a lady who really impressed our French friends with her incredible knowledge of the wines, the vineyards, the vintages etc. She was also extremely friendly and her passion for the wines was clearly evident.
The second "Maison des Vins de Bandol" is located in Bandol. Called Oenotheque des Vins de Bandol located opposite the Casino of Bandol. They have the same bottles for sale, although may have different wines open for tasting.

Very nice welcome. Excellent tasting and lots of information, sharing and discussions with the person who welcomed us. She took the time to explain the particularity of the Bandol wines.

Not very friendly. It was busy in the area and we were a later than expected. I took us more than 1 hout driving.
My French is sufficient but as Im not a native speaking person, there was no way that I could follow fast French that the young lady was speaking to my wife and me. She wanted us out.
We felt chased away.
All Parkings nearby were full and there was no way that we could stay and wait for a few hours when it would open again.
It was a waste of time.
I will never come back to this unfriendy and inhospitable place.
