The Picasso Museum is a small museum that has the Picasso collection of his barber, Eugenio Arias. There are several excellent art pieces in this small museum and my wife and a friend enjoyed our visit here and took many photos of the art objects. The museum was free.

Very special this small museum of Picasso's barber. After cutting the maestro's hair for 30 years, his collection of art was big enough for a small museum. Barber Ariel donated it to his village Buitrago and did not fall for the money of rich collectors who wanted to buy from him.

Perfect plan for a country afternoon!. After a nice menú and Picasso's personal art Museum (don't miss the 8minute video of his barber talking). Count on the possibility of canoeing in Lozoya's river and enjoy the great views of "La Muralla" (the Castle wall).

Great little museum, it's such an intimate place, with such personal Picasso art dedicated to his barber. It really is a must see if you're driving up or down the A1 (as is the town of Buitrago, it's full of interesting things to see). The Quijote and bull art is just great, I've taken several visitors here on the way... More
